gday guys, hoping someone can help out a backpacking aussie! i was trying to get in on a RV from souther florida that was being discussed on here earlier. i have just heard that it is not happening now so i am in need of a ride. i am currently in peru and fly to fort lauderdale on the 6th. i only need a ride up to roo as i am flying out of nashville on the 13th. i am happy to travel wherever i need to be to get the ride and obviously will throw in for costs.
any help would be appreciated. hit me up on here or luckyfletch@hotmail.com
I'm Danny. I'm with Josh (elvon11), and we're leaving from the Central Florida area. Deltona/Longwood/Sanford,etc.
We have seven people in our group and we are right now taking two cars. We'd like to hitch into this caravan to make Bonnaroo even more amazing than ever.
We are planning on leaving on Wednesday night to get there by Thurs morning. We can meet up with anyone on the way. I don't think we'll have room though to fit extra bodies though, unless someone else decides to drive.
We have our little facebook group: "Bonnaroo '11 Trippers". You're welcome to join so we can be in contact about the caravan. www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_173334109388632 It's prob easier than emailing back and forth.
So I'm thinking someplace off of I-75 would be a good place to meet up. Depending on where everyone is we can plan for a main meet up off one of the exits or something like that. How's that sound?

I live in Orlando. This will be my 3rd year going. Need a ride though - any spots left? Have tons of stuff to contribute to the community! Including gas money Let me know please!
hello everyone, this caravan sounds really awesome, but my post is a little off topic. I'm driving up from Vero Beach and I wanted to see if anyone wants to come with, split the costs and such. cadellhornbuckle@gmail.com

two vans four people my fifth roo and i def wants down with this caravan...imo the first rest area on 75 after I-10 is the best meetup spot that way the jax and I-95 people can come across, but whens the best time for everybody?? its only about 9 or 10 hours from there so democratically we should vote on when to arrive on the grounds...or at least the line lol...between 4-6 am has my vote...

What are the benefits of a caravan? Does it not attract police attention once we get into Tennessee?
Also, when do you guys think is the best time to arrive... I have heard that people who get there early have been (mostly) far but sometimes close to centeroo and that people who arrive in the early morning on Thursday have the longest waits... true?
Would the vets in here suggest arriving Thurs morning/afternoon vs. Weds afternoon/evening? My group is having trouble deciding on long wait vs. long walk.
In any case I may be interested in the caravan. How many cars are in so far?

jon: got room for one plus stuff so no problem there...
caravan roll call... fearthestupid with 2 vehicles, can meet anywhere between here and the rest stop scrog spoke of (thanx for that btw)
ibreatheglitter:Welcome to the board! i would suggest thurs morning based purely on walking, but the party in bfe is pretty awesome Wed nite...of course this year since the campgrounds officially open wed eve, bfe will likely fill fast.

ibreatheglitter: Last year we arrived early Thursday morning and were SUPER close to Centeroo. I've read diff things, but I think it can't hurt to get there early. I'm not sure, but if you really feel you're in a bad spot I imagine you could take your camp to tent only after you park.
fearthestupid: Awesome news! When are you leaving/coming back?
Hi everyone! A friend and I looking for a ride BACK from the roo. We have a ride up but we are having issues finding a way back. Please let me know if you ave a way back or pass the word along if you know of a way back (besides itch hiking)
