Now I'm wondering how much of the 2 lb. shipping weight is an over-estimate. What are the goodies!?
No idea, but I think that UPS might have require whole numbers for the package's weight. I know that anything under 1 lb will error and you have to choose a pound. I also send plenty of big boxes, but I usually estimate to the whole pound anyway. So it is possible that the package is 1.1, but needed to be rounded to two.

The website said May 1st but I know several people who posted their final payments today???
EDIT: final payments are due today according to bonnaroo.com which secures their tickets even though it's past the may 1st deadline
So if I bought mine anytime after today (like this weekend when I get paid), I would have to do will call?
I thought I read on here before that some people would buy in mid to late May and get their wristband at a normal shipping speed.
I honestly have no clue man. Email them or call -- they are helpful. I just know last year they told me if I wasn't home during the week they got shipped out, I would need to do will call so my tickets didn't get sent back. As for what happens in your situation, idk...... maybe they still ship them out?? Mine had been bought beforehand so they were guaranteed to ship out on a certain day. What happens after you purchase them after shipping day.... no clue.
If you have to do will call, it's not that bad. It's actually pretty fucking convenient! I can answer yours questions if it comes to doing will call.
I'm pretty sure they will still ship them out up until 3-4 days before the lineup. However, you will be forced to pay for 2 day shipping or something expedited.
This is an assumption, I don't actually know if this is their operating procedure but seems logical to just default 2-day shipping or overnight once it gets too close to the dates.

List of Things That Weigh Slightly Less Than Two Pounds: a jumbo can of store brand ravioli, log of cookie dough, the series collection of Friends on DVD, a bathrobe, a pack of CFL lightbulbs...the list could go on for days.
