It appears a vast majority of people on here opted for signature required shipping. And instead the tickets are just being left wherever with no signature. In case anybody's tickets get lost and they have problems with Bonnaroo where they just dropped them off at doorsteps we might need to step in to help them. I know most people are not stupid enough to mess with the mail of others but there is always an idiot or even a stray burst of wind. Nobody is being informed really to even look out for the tickets arriving in advance. Some people do not chack their email everyday or sometimes for a week or more. In case Bonnaroo tries anything shady we need to be ready to jump on them on the behalf of the individuals involved. Hell just think of the extra money you paid for signature required say 20,000 people did it by $10? That is a lot of money that got scammed from hard working individuals that typically worked an hour or more for that security. Just like they clamped down with RFID we need to be prepared to clamp down as well. Just looking out for the best interests of my "peeps". My gues sthey decided to put all their faith in the RFID and Bonnaroo is nowhere near selling out they have a lot of good competition now. They said to hell with it lets keep the $10 bucks and help offset some expenses. And voluntary registration those bracelets are scanned into an adress unless they decided to save a step there and some money sent them out and said screw it we can kill RFID's and resend bracelets if we want to. Think of all the money we will save. Anyway a lot of people are being done a big disservice I think. And that is just my two cents worth.

I just checked the site again and don't see a signature required shipping option... all I see is delivery confirmation, which is what everyone got and is complaining about. Did they remove the signature required option or is everyone just confusing it with delivery confirmation? When I bought my Tier 2 tickets I only remember seeing delivery confirmation as a shipping option.

Orders will ship starting on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011. Remember to have your order shipped to an address where you or your authorized representative will be in late May and early June. You will be notified via email as to precisely when your order has been shipped. If three delivery attempts are made without success, the tickets will be returned to Musictoday. We can resend them to you by FedEx Expedited for $15.00 or by Overnight Express for $25.00. If you have not received your tickets within one week of the event date, please email bonnarootix@musictoday.com immediately and we will happily assist you. Please note: FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Box addresses. Entering a P.O. Box address may cause a delay in delivery your tickets. If any orders must be re-routed after they have been shipped, there will be an additional fee charged.
argh this is so irritating.. I just moved in March so my bracelet is being sent to my home home = I couldn't give anyone notice that they were sent out? In fact don't even know if it arrived or not because I'm stuck at work without reception to call home...
Hardly anyone got tickets I am in Kentucky and have friends down the street that ordered as soon as they went on sale. I was at their house tonight no email no nothing from Bonnaroo.

If you purchased via-the payment plan then you will not get an email/tickets until after the final payment is made. I'm sure this is what most are talking about. Also from previous years posts, it appears that Bonnaroo does a great job with taking care of people that have their tickets lost in the mail. I think this is going to be even easier for them with the RFID chips installed. Now if your ticket is lost, you can just email bonnarootix@musictoday.com and I'm sure they will issue you a new one - overnighted or have you pick it up at their Will Call station (I think its previously been at the Holiday Inn) in Manchester. They would just cancel the other bracelet so whoever stole your ticket will end up not being able to enter the festival.
Sure it would be an inconvenience but I really think you have nothing to worry about.

if anyone for any reason ever tries to get you to go to the will call.... don't.
I imagine that place is one of the deeper levels of hell reserved for lazy DMV workers as penance for the soul numbing despair they have inflicted upon us.

I have three tickets and they all were shipped separate to the same address..and I paid 12$ for signature required for one, which was explained earlier..but yes they did nail me on shipping for two tickets when it clearly wasn't needed but hey if it goes to my weekend being alittle bit easier, im ok with that. I mean they already got enough of my money, what's 30 extra.
I got an e-mail on Thursday with the tracking number, same as the last few years. This year they're coming by UPS instead of Fedex so I don't know if I'll need to sign or not, with Fedex I have a signature on file to make things easier, not sure if I've ever signed for anything from UPS unless I'm standing in the driveway when the truck rolls up. According to the tracking info the tix should be delivered on Monday by the end of the day and as of right now they're at the local UPS facility.
Hardly anyone got tickets I am in Kentucky and have friends down the street that ordered as soon as they went on sale. I was at their house tonight no email no nothing from Bonnaroo.
I'm a little worried about my tickets. They're being shipped to my Dad's place in Berea, Ky (for a long exhausting reason) but he is currently in Saudia Arabia, thus no one is there to sign for them. I'm also terrified of Will Call but I'm thinking that's probably where I'll wind up next month :/
maybe it isnt on Bonnaroo's end but on the delivery services end? as in, maybe a few people have lazy mailmen.
I think there was some weird miscommunication between Bonnaroo and the postal service. The past three years I had to sign to get my package, and this year, I came home to it in my mailbox. I can't imagine THAT many mailmen/mailwomen being lazy and not doing their job. That seems like risky business not getting a required signature.
There was no signature option available this year. A lot of people (myself included) were confusing the option available from previous years when Fedex was used. I was a bit pissed to find my package sitting on my porch so I called the Post Office. They said my package was shipped USPS 1st Class Parcel w/Delivery Confirmation only. That does not require a signature, it just means the package is tracked.
I pulled my receipt and it looks like that are right. I would prefer Bonnaroo go back to using Fedex. It makes me nervous to have something so important to me just laying on my porch.
big_brown_beevah, I'm curious as to why your receipt shows Fedex signature on it? It looks like you got in on the November presale. So maybe they fixed it between then and when tix actually went on sale?
Here's my receipt, I got P3 but I bought it the morning they went on sale (not the presale in November).
