Little Dragon is now coming to Orlando the week before.
Really glad so many acts are swinging through Orlando before or after the fest, since I can use those as conflict resolutions. May actually make the schedule manageable...

In case you missed it posted on Moogfest Facebook today...
"Want to win a Moogfest 2010 Merch Pack (Hoodie, T-Shirt and Poster)? Yeah, I thought so. Here's how...
We just created a "Moogfest Monday" Facebook Event. Simply RSVP for the event by clicking the following link and clicking "I'm Attending". We'll pick one random person on Friday of this week (out of everyone that RSVP's) and hook them up with the prize pack. Click the link. Do it."

Its kinda funny that my FB news feed has been littered with people asking about others if they wanna go to to Moogfest.
What the funny part is these people arn't typical festie people. They don't know any of the names past the top 13. To me this is a testament of how deep this line up is. And how Moogfest nailed it this year. I keep coming back to it in terms as festival of the year. Sure .. There are bands I don't care for but the overall is greater than what I dislike.
Kudos Moogfest. You have created a festival of the year.
Spaceman keeps referring to a few more weeks on FB. Evidently the demand for weekend passes are too great before they break them up and offer singles days.

I really hope they do single day tickets this year I cant get my lady onboard for the whole thing and that was my escape route
so whats up mfspaceman do we get singles this year
or do I need to hatch a new plan
wow sounds eerily similar. but it's more than her not wanting to go, we really can't afford the whole thing. i had all but decided on not going. we can see little dragon and st vincent in atl, which are pretty much the top 2. but i was thinking single days were going to be $99. $75 makes it sound more doable. almost everyone we really want to see is on fri. but st. vincent isn't. not sure what to do yet.
It was $75 last year. I remembered wanting to go for just 2 days and it would have been stupid to not doing the weekend pass when 2 day tickets would have been the same price.
If it comes down to quantity for me. Even if my #1 wasn't playing the day I could go the idea of seeing a ton of other stuff that I haven't seen before outweighs that.

But thats just me.
yea you're right. but we've been waiting to see a full st. vincent set. we saw her at roo and opening for andrew bird.
Oh and this was posted earlier today by Moogfest on Facebook:
For now, we are only selling passes for the entire weekend. There will be some single day tickets available for each of the individual days of the weekend. We expect to put these on sale sometime after Labor Day weekend.

They are going to have to release the schedule before they put single day passes on sale. Hopefully, that means they will release the schedule sooner than later.

I've been planning on getting a single day, but I already know that I'm going to have a hard time deciding since there is so much I want to see. Hopefully things will work out and I can make the whole weekend.
