wow sounds eerily similar. but it's more than her not wanting to go, we really can't afford the whole thing. i had all but decided on not going. we can see little dragon and st vincent in atl, which are pretty much the top 2. but i was thinking single days were going to be $99. $75 makes it sound more doable. almost everyone we really want to see is on fri. but st. vincent isn't. not sure what to do yet.
the money thing makes her not want to but it just makes me wanna budget it in and not waste what we have
also most of the bands we wanna see wont be in reasonable distance or at reasonable times for us to catch we have to plan a lot when it comes to live shows
I hope day passes are cheaper than 100 cause thats what I thought they would be
Oh and this was posted earlier today by Moogfest on Facebook:
For now, we are only selling passes for the entire weekend. There will be some single day tickets available for each of the individual days of the weekend. We expect to put these on sale sometime after Labor Day weekend.
sooner the better
and yeah I work third shift so sorry for the late post
Moog Music was born when a young Bob Moog, who considered himself a geeky, socially awkward kid with a passion for electronics and music, started tinkering with electronic circuitry. As a boy, Moog built small radios, amps and three note organs in his basement workshop with his father – the rest is history. In celebration of this creative curiosity, we’ve teamed with Moog Music Inc. to sponsor the Second Annual Circuit Bending Challenge. We’ve just got to see what all those that lick and stick, modify signals and jump traces are capable of. It’s like an addiction.
How to Enter:
1. Procure a battery-powered sound-making device.
2. Bend it by any means necessary.
3. Document the bend process and outcome with video with audio (required). The better you document, the better we can judge. All videos must be uploaded by MIDNIGHT EST on Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
4. Upload the video to YouTube and tag it with “moog music circuit bending competition 2011” and “Moogfest 2011“.
5. Shoot an email to info@moogmusic.com with the subject line “Moog Circuit Bending Challenge 2011″ and the link to your entry on YouTube.
Finals: The top 3 contestants will be chosen as finalists on Friday, September 23, 2011 and win weekend passes to Moogfest 2011 as well as a Moog merch package. At Moogfest the 3 finalists will be given a workstation in the Moogaplex, the same toy and the same bag of tools (which includes a soldering iron, wire, switches, potentiometers of varying degrees, resistors, capacitors, heat shrink, bread boards, diodes, plus more surprises). Each finalist will have from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 & Sunday, October 30 to bend the toy at their workstations. Grand prize winner will be chosen by a Moog Music Engineer at 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 30.
Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner receives a Moog Pedal Board which includes one of each Moogerfooger (MF-101 Low Pass Filter, MF-102 Ring Mod, MF-103 Phaser, MF-104Z Analog Delay, MF-105M Midi MuRF, MF-107 ) and a Multi-Pedal (MP-201).

So somehow I forgot to mention this here already? But as of a few days ago, I'm officially in. ;D ;D
Got my festie ticket, my plane ticket, and a place to crash all taken care of - now I just need to work on the really important things, like researching the lineup and finding a ridiculous Halloween outfit.
I am a maybe for Saturday only, depending on the schedule and the price/availability of day passes.
It looks like we maybe getting the Daily Line-Up next week and Single days on sale after labor day weekend.
From FB a few hours ago: We've sold almost double the number of passes as last year so far. We still have tickets remaining at the Tier 2 price, however. We'll warn you when they're about to sell out and we move to Tier 3. Also, we'll be letting you know who is playing on which day in the near future and put daily tickets on sale a few days after Labor Day weekend.
I'm still thinking it's gonna be around $75 like last year.
I'm not going this year and I won't be bringing a +1. This line up is a bunch of meh.

I'll be there +1.
My girlfriend absolutely needs to be back by Monday morning, but we are still planning on sticking around for most (all?) of Sunday night. Especially if Special Disco Version shuts it down.

I'll be there, +7 or so. Also, I'll update the first post when I get to a computer tonight or tmrw. I've been feeling like shit all day so I'll be on here most of tonight. Although updating the first post is a little less important since the schedule is dropping in a few days!
I'm definitively in! Just booked the hotel room nearby so I'm 100% committed. If anyone is looking for a place to crash I'll likely have room for 2 people assuming you bring something to sleep on.
