Got my free shirt today, along with a hand written note congratulating me again and apologizing for the delay (he forgot to mail mine the week I won, didn't realize it till this week.)
Either way, that note just helps confirms how great these guys are.

oh hey...
"And, yes, we have a handful of super cool additions to the line up yet to announce...and we haven't told you about this year's outdoor venue yet, have we? All in good time...all in good time...)"

I doubt the big names will be playing on the outdoor stage. It wouldn't make much sense to build a huge outdoor stage when Asheville Civic Center is already 7k capacity and equipped to handle the more production-heavy acts like the Lips.
Thats where I am with it as well, kyejwe. I don't think the outdoor stage will be a big stage. Asheville definitely has the space but I'd be shocked if it was a huge venue. You'd have to go outside of town a bit to find something big and part of the charm is all the venues are easily walkable.
Moogfest posted a comment in that thread that said: Just to be clear everyone...we don't want you to be expecting any major new headline act to be announced...but we still have a few very tasty musical treats yet to share with you. Plus lots of other surprises to reveal in the coming weeks.
If thats the case we're looking at The ACC as being the "big" venue.
EDIT: I was thinking about setting up a spreadsheet with other Infomoogers names and some phone numbers and where your staying (if you want to put that) to be emailed before the fest, very similar to what zen did before Roo.
Anyone interested?

Since so many of you are asking: Weekend passes are still available at the Tier 2 pricing level. Once the allotment of these tickets sells out, the remaining weekend passes will be sold at the Tier 3 level. We will be putting passes for each individual day of the Moogfest weekend on sale towards the end of next week. Details, along with information about which artists are playing on which days, will be announced shortly after Labor Day.
