Yeah, I'm seeing them the same week, so I'll definitely be willing to skip them if need be. I'm also seeing a bunch of those Friday acts elsewhere though, so there's a lot of acts in that same boat.

I agree with garage. Missed most of it for all of James Murphy because I knew I wouldn't miss them at moog. Won't miss either of them though both are great shows
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I've seen them a lot over the past 6 years and they have always been a good but not great. This last show they really upped the ante for a great live band. Like, really and I'm pretty bitter and jaded when it comes to live music.
I missed James to get a spot for TVOTR. I hope this plays out in my favor come time for the schedule. I heard mixed feelings about the show but they were not LCD fans to start with.

Good to see I wasn't the only person doing this as VFF. I saw part of James Murphy then went over to TVOTR because I didn't want to miss them but wanted to check out James Murphy to scout him out for Moog. Also, I figured I would get MUCH closer at VFF for James Murphy versus Moog. James Murphy at VFF didn't do much for me, but I never got into LCD either. Also, I skipped GLO for Deadmau5, and I hope that doesn't bite me in the butt when the Moogfest schedule comes out.
Seeing TV tonight. Hopefully, this will get them out of my system and will open up some space for me to see other bands at Moog... it might just make me want to see them again though...
well we just lost our backup plan. we were going to see st vincent in atl if we don't go to moog. it sold out. damn.
I'm actually surprised it didn't sell out sooner.
yea that place is tiny. but considering everything else that is going on that night in atl, watch the throne, odd future, battles, ptm, plus moog, i didn't even think about it selling out.

Well, when you list them all at once....that does seem pretty intense. Still, I think The Earl is way too small for her. I suspect she would have played Variety if PtM hadn't gotten there first.

I still have room if anyone needs a place to stay anytime between Thurs and Sun. Even if people just want to come down early and need someplace to stay on Thursday night.

Room? I don't need no stinkin' room...I just wanna rent the hot tub... Ya know, you could totally make a killing off renting that sucker out for half-hour sessions! Yeah. Just sayin'

Nope, it'll be tasty. I'm bringing Druid's Apple Pie cocktail. Food might be necessary to ensure we're semi-ambulatory post-consumption!
Uke or no uke; it's gonna be epic. I hope somebody has some functioning brain cells to remember the epic shenanipants, 'cause I have a feeling none of us will! ;D
I'm up in the air about Thursday right now. I am thinking of catching Austra in DC or Mayer Hawthorne here Pre-Moog, but I can't commit till I figure that out.
Hold the phone. I got a groupon for Ghost & Haunt tour. hummm ...

I also wanted to point out something karosko said pages back. When the tour was announced most sites were saying his date in the Chapel Hill area was listed as Moogfest, which we all know its the wrong area and time frame.
I'm still trying to figure out the shenanigans with Neon Indian.
Have Neon Indian worked on anything new? How much different was their Moogfest show from the Roo set, last year? I find it odd when fests book acts back to back years with little to no new material in the works.
