Anyone got an extra car camping pass? I think Stubhub screwed me. Gonna have to scramble, and panic a little more, I guess.
Never mind again. Stub Hub did indeed screw me: delivery originally said 6/6, which then changed to 6/11. They won't take the blame for that, saying 6/6 was supposed to be the date the seller received the pass (WTF?), even though it still says delivery to ME by 6/6. No tracking number by 6/10 so I did online chat. 25 minutes later and their answer is wait longer and call customer service. Called customer service, and 30 minutes later the only resolution is a refund (which they so kindly provided "early" even though they still think 2-day shipping that has not yet begun can get here in the next 22 hours), and an offer for a 20% off coupon for something else in the future.
A supervisor did confirm that they will still collect 40% from the deadbeat seller, and therefore make money on a transaction that provided the buyer with nothing. I declined the coupon, because Stub Hub is 0 for 2 on my last two transactions, so I have no reason to waste any more time and frustration with them. Their FanProtect Guarantee, which mentions finding replacements when they are available, only applies to items they have in their system - the fact that Bonnaroo is still selling them doesn't matter. How they were going to anything to me in less than 24 hours, I have no idea, and the supervisor confirmed that all they could possibly offer was a refund (and a coupon, as if I'm enough of a sucker to let them screw me again).
Short version: be very careful trusting Stub Hub, especially when things will come down to the last moment. Buy direct from Bonnaroo. I ended up having to get a parking pass through the oh-so-convenient off-site will call, which I'm visiting anyway since my wristband order also got screwed up. Their customer service people reps and supervisors are fantastic on the phone and know their stuff, as well as how to stay calm when peppered with questions, but they are pretty powerless to do anything useful when things go awry.

Hey everyone! So this is my 10th year and my buddies first. We’re flying into BNA Wednesday night at 9:00pm, renting a car and driving to a hotel 10 minutes from Roo and going in early Thur morning. Now initially we had 5 people total but 3 dropped out. With all of us going it made sense to rent a car to transport all of our supplies and split the cost. But now that there’s only two of us we were wondering if anybody would like to hop on board and split the car?
We know we should probably ditch the car and just take a shuttle bus. But we already have a car camping pass and like the idea of being able to lock our valuables in the car. Also not having to rely on the bus back to BNA.
We’re offering a car ride from the airport Wednesday night to the hotel. You’d get your own room and we’d all drive in and camp together Thur morning. Split the car and whatever beer/snacks we pick up at Walmart. So anybody interested just message me and we can discuss details. Peace!!!

Hey, you may already have found tickets, but the VIP passes on the ticket exchange haven't been too bad recently. I've even seen a couple listings for $975, which is $75 under face. I would bet there will be some more for around $1000.

If anyone from here who is going solo wants in on our Glamping tent, PM me. There are three of us, two dudes and myself. It was the two queen bed tent and I cannot switch out, but we will move things around and bring a cot with two top pads. They provide pillow and a Bonnaroo sleeping bag that you get to keep. This would be a great gig for anyone out there flying in and camping solo who is going to have supply issues since you won't have to bring anything. I will have plenty of supplies for everyone. Cost negotiable. Pros: We don't bite. Air conditioned, dark-room tent with electricity. I am renting a Uhaul pickup or a van, so I bring pretty much everything. Decorations for the place, the outdoor EZ-up space, campstove, utensils, chairs, plenty of snacks and some full meals to go around, etc etc etc. Mi casa es su casa. I can pick up any special requests if you are flying in. I usually make a few decent meals. We will have a vehicle to lock up some of your valuables.
Cons: We stay up pretty late, so if you are someone who likes to retire earlier and would be bothered by someone coming into your sleeping place in the middle of your sleep be aware. I have never rented one of these, so I can't tell you a whole lot on what to expect of the spot, other than it is airconditioned and has electricity. I probably can't pick you up from the airport, unless you happen to fly in Wed morning and don't mind riding in on a cooler in the back of a van. Because that is how Easymorningrebel is coming in with us.
