advertising on your vehicle " Bonnaroo or bust " or anything like that seems like your asking to get pulled over. I am wondering how meany people have done it and gotten pulled over ? Because we were thinking about writing all over our vehicle. ???
Didn't put ours up until we were really close to Manchester and it was obvious where we were headed. I didn't see any sense in arousing any potential hardass cops.

We come from PA and we Write on the jeep every year...BONNAROO BOUND!!! For some reason I dont wanna put bonnaroo or bust it just sounds bad. Yeah alot of ppl say not to but whatever I got nothing to hide...and if I do ....Its hidden well!
I was thinking the same thing... Glad you started this thread. I'm coming from Florida, and I have a bad feeling that I would get pulled over. But I still want to put something. Lol
I've always discouraged it. The fact is that having anything written on your vehicle windows will increase the likelihood of your vehicle standing apart. Even if they don't know what Bonnaroo is, you'll get a second glance and that increases the chance that they notice something that arouses curiosity.
Getting pulled over always sucks so I don't see enough to be gained by increasing your chances of that happening.

I'm from Central Florida and I'm writing it on my car for the drive. My car was literally covered for Railroad Revival Tour/Jazzfest in New Orleans a few weeks ago.
I got lots of honks and waves, but never once got pulled over.

i am thinking about having Pondo Army stuff on my vehicle (I so wanted to bring a Tank to Roo but looks like Lono's credit history along with mine amounted to us being able to rent a skateboard.)

If you're 100% clean and don't have any potential legal issues (like under 21 year olds in a car with beers, a metal pipe you left under a seat a year or two ago) then go ahead and do what you'd like......but I do know that cops are on the lookout for festival goers and if they think there's a reason to they will search you/give you a hard time. Just be smart.
I would just get one of the Bonnaroo carpooling PDF's and just use that. Put some tape up and make like two on each side of the car at the most. Probably be better to keep things as low key , in case of a stop.
Every car I saw pulled over and cops ripping through had something about Bonnaroo written on it. I prefer to lay low, but like it was said before, it you've got nothing to hide and don't mind a possible invasive search, go for it.
Last year driving down I was in Virginia and I past a car with young kids with a PA liscense plate. As we past them the passenger (probably suspecting I too was heading to roo because my car was out-of-state, and fulll of young kids) held up their Bonnaroo ticket against the window.
Everyone in my car got super excited and spent the rest of the drive to Chattanooga doing the same to every car we thoughtwere Roo bound. It was really great to see some people's reactions. Granted this year we don't have tickets, I'm sure though the wristband will be indicative enough.

I don't write things on my car, but I did yell out 'Bonnnnnaaarrooooo' to everyone that looked like they were going to Roo. Some looked at me crazy because they were headed to the CMA Music Fest that happens in Nashville on the same weekend.
