upon seeing this thread (thanks for bringing it back!) i remembered a dream I had about a month ago:
Bonnaroo is taking place in a hotel this year, so i had just left the check in desk and was heading to the restrooms when I noticed that "Skrillex" was following behind me. I recognized him, and said something about his old band, From First To Last, and then wished him luck at his upcoming set. we both go to urinals. he's done first. while I finish he walks up to me and puts his face and inch away from mine and just stares at me and says thank you. then leaves. Next... Major lazer comes in.... only major lazer is a giant demonic version of the caterpillar from alice in wonderland, and the bathroom is now falling apart. smoke and scary burlesque dancers are everywhere. The caterpillar starts chanting "all hail satan" in a high pitched voice. suddenly my fiance is next to me and says "ew, who is that", I respond with "Oh, its Major Lazer" and i wake up.
I had a bonnaroo NIGHTMARE last night. God i hope this doesn't happen... I WON'T LET IT!!
Freaking woke up in my dream and we were on our way to bonnaroo. I was so excited, i remember feeling that anticipation build up as we were waiting in line to get on the farm. Then out of no where i woke up (in the dream again) and we were leaving. Like it was a 3 minute festival. And in the dream i could remember going to all these shows. Just couldn't remember the shows at all, like watching the bands or dancing. And all my friends were telling me how awesome everything was, and that it was great. But i couldn't remember any of it, like none of it really happened to me because i had no memory. I started panicking and asking friends to relive every moment for me. But i couldn't get the memory back. It freaked me out because i was looking forward to this so much, and then the entire memory of the festival was just a blank slate. It was horrible. I actually woke up and was sweating a little bit. I'm almost afraid to go under the influencce of anything while i'm there just in case this were to actually happen and my memory would get wiped. It was like the Men In Black guys came during the festival and completely wiped my memory. Quack that!
I had a Roo dream the other night. You know the feeling in the air early in the morning right before dawn on the farm? It's chilly, a bit dewy, and a really amazing sort of calm as everyone is either chilling out or sleeping the night off. The only noise comes from people unpacking or packing up or from that one guy you hate who refuses to sleep. I had a dream about walking around the campsites at about that time and it was happiness.
I had a Roo dream last night. It was cold out and no one had packed clothing for the cold. We could camp near the stages except there were a lot of puddles so you had to watch where you put your stuff. Camp Inforoo was located inside a makeshift-shelter area and they had couches and lamps. Mike D had a bunch of rainbow colored cupcakes with smiley faces.
I had my first bonnaroo dream on sunday morning actually.. and i've never even been to one yet!!
nothing too serious, but for me- it was hectic. we had gotten to our campsite in the early hours of thursday morning, and it just started to get super hot out, and i went in the tent to get sunscreen, because i'm ridiculously fair skinned, and realized that we didn't bring any! and all our neighbors and the shops there didn't have it either! I was so scared i was going to die of sun poisoning that i left on thursday evening to go home.
Needless to say i'll be packing like 7 cans of the spray on stuff now!! ;D

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I had a dream last night that I was setting up my tent at Bonnaroo, but it was pretty much dark in the field except for a few lights on telephone poles. Bonnaroo hadn't announced their schedule yet, so when someone came around handing out the schedule I got really excited and ran over to him. It was printed on newspaper, and when I opened it I noticed that Jack White had been added as a Thursday night headliner on the Which. The Saturday schedule was frustratingly missing from my copy, so I kept asking around to see when the Roots were going on, but no one knew.
Then two of my friends and I went to the general store to stock up on supplies. It was like a huge well-lit supermarket in my dream, and we all complained how everything was marked up about 300%. I specifically remember being really confused why a pound of flour was $12, but I apparently really needed it for the weekend so I bought it anyway. Then we walked back to camp!
Weird, but it was my first Bonnaroo dream. I guess I'm ramping up to go back to the farm!
I dreamed last night that I slept through Radiohead only to wake up after it was over then I fell back to sleep and missed late night Friday. I woke up, in the dream, and totally freaked out. Then I woke up, in real life, and totally freaked out.
In 2008 I went solo to bonnaroo but tragically I forgot all of my clothes and spent the entire festival buying t shirts to get by.. (as well as washing my shorts etc and drying them while I slept commando) So every dream I have about bonnaroo since then is about forgetting my clothes again
Had another Roo dream last night! They are my favorite.
There were cabins instead of campgrounds, first come first serve. There was a Dairy Queen nearby and I drove there naked (I have no idea, it was a dream ok?). Got a cake. Took it into Centeroo (no longer naked) and found Mike D, popsicle Sarah and Holls. Mike D ate the entire cake by himself.

My dreams are always the worst. One time i had a dream we were camped on some camp ground miles away. I managed to miss every show i wanted to see because we kept getting lost in the woods. Eventually we found a bus, the bus crashed off a bridge, we all ran out and ran up to the gates, but our tickets were destroyed so we couldnt get in.
As you can tell, I've been having a little anxiety over bonnaroo this year haha. Now that my plans are set in stone though, my dreams should be a little more positive

Wow. Somehow I can relate to the getting lost dream because the first couple times I went I couldn't find anything and kept walking around by myself in circles at night.
What stage, which stage... yeah thanks for the descriptive names!
Anyway, I like reading this thread! I think I had a dream recently about Bonnarroo but it was so vague and part of another dream I can't remember but it must have been good!

I had a daydream the other day that for the second encore of Radiohead Thom would walk out with a complete chior and perform creep alone with them and his piano. Gave me chills thinking about it.
Ive had a few recently. One where everyone that was on the farm was being spiritually enlightened. The police were not happy with this and started raiding the farm killing people left and right but if someone that was already enlightened was killed they could come back to life.
Another from the other night was very weird. Eminem was performing on some stage and he forgot all his lyrics and jumped down and handed me the microphone because I was rapping all his songs. Then after that set I walked around and there were college football games going on and I had to play for Iowa State university and made the game winning touchdown... Right after that I had to go suit up for the University of Iowa and play for them but the team managers couldnt find the jerseys. It was very odd..

last night i had a dream where roo was really boring, and consisted of me and 2 friends sitting at camp, not interested in any bands, and just eating corn due to a lack of more exciting party favors. and after an hour of sitting there, roo was over and i was insanely depressed. bonnaroo nightmares suck.

I had a bonnaroo nightmare too! It was almost over and I had only seen 1 or 2 acts! It was on the beach though, so hopefully that was a hangout nightmare instead??

I was at the temper trap show and I started lip syncing then a guy comes next to me and starts playing air guitar then another crouches behind me and starts playing air drums, people start turning around to watch us and we do this for the whole set. Was awesome. Also had one last year where I started floating during the Arcade Fire set when they play "Headlights Look Like Diamonds", then when I'm like 100 feet up I start glowing and shooting light from my fingertips and everyone I hit with the light starts to float. That was a weird one.

I love Bonna dreams I have them all year long and am usually depressed when i wake up knowing that i have a long time to go till i'm back on the farm.
My favorite ones are the ones when my house is right there and i invite all sorts of people that i meet to come and hang out. Who the hell would care about water or electric bills for the weekend if you can have the largest family reunion ever at your house!!!

All my roo dreams are nightmares. Most recently I dreamt that I missed the entire thing, had another dream that we got all the way there with zero gear, and last year I had a dream that I fell asleep in centeroo during the festival, woke up and it was days after it ended, and my friends had left me in TN.
