I mean setting up in the dark will be a little more challenging, but there was sufficient enough lighting between the big light set up near our campsite and our lanterns. At least I won't sweat my ass off trying to set up....
you know what i mean... are they going to open and stay open until monday? are they really going to make people set up in the dark?
We came in Wednesday night last year and had enough light to set up the pop-up and canopy. Maybe it was because we were close to Bushy Branch Rd? I can't remember if we had proper light in 07. I went to sleep as soon as we got there.
As to your question, I would think they will surly be letting people in all night. I've came in on Wednesday both years I've been and they've always had people coming in all night long.

That someone would pose a question regarding setting up tents in the dark made me chuckle. I just took it for granted that people would be setting up in the dark. When we roll into Sasquatch it's usually well after midnight. We break out the headlamps, crack open the beers and get to setting up our camp. Obviously we do things differently out here in the wild wild west, but I'd have no problem setting up in the dark

given the heat, setting up camp at nighttime is ideal. not only do you get cooler weather for the setup, but if your arriving at night the drive waiting to get in is wayyy more bearable. I'd rather wait in line a few hours wed night, then go in set up camp and goto sleep..... as opposed to waiting in line for 6-8 hours in the blistering sun and just be burnt out by the time you pull into your camping spot.
