Forgive me if this is posted somewhere else. I've searched and am having no luck.
Have 2008 Bonnaroo dates been confirmed yet? With the announcement of the Langerado line-up, I'm trying to decide which festival to attend this year.
I went to Bonnaroo in 2006 and had the time of my life. Plus it'd cost about half as much as flying to Florida and staying in a hotel, when I can just make the days drive and camp out at Bonnaroo.
I'm throwing around the possibilities of Langerado, Bonnaroo, Coachella, and Austin City Limits.
well, you ask me why i'm drunk all the time it levels my head and eases my mind i just walk along and stroll and sing i see better days and i do better things
As mentioned in "The 2008 Bonnaroo Rumors/Linup Thread", it was briefly posted on pollstar.com that My Morning Jacket would play Bonnaroo on Friday, June 13th, and Pat Green was playing on Saturday the 14th, I believe. This should pretty much confirm the dates for June 12-15, 2008.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
if it falls the week before i won't be able to go because of college finals and if it falls the next weekend i won't be able to go because i am pretty sure that is my brother's high school graduation.

^take your bro to roo, that would be the ultimate gift. I wish me and my bro were closer when I was that age because I could of had the chance to go to the first roo ever.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

i also agree with the last 3 posts. i'm a sophomore in college and my brother is 3 years older than me. he persuaded me [didn't take much] to go w/ him to roo last year and seriously it was the best thing hes ever persuaded me to do! hahah
