with Bisco on hiatus and STS9 having just played, I really thought they were a lock for the jamtronic slot this year. Guess that only increases their chances for 2013.

I just signed the petition that is floating around to try to convince All Good to let Lotus do Summer Dance at the Ledges this year. Because of the contract BS they had to cancel Summer Dance. I don't think I'll get to see them at all this year Bummer.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

So that's why Lotus is nowhere to be found at the major music festivals. It's crappy that All Good won't let them to do anything else, even Lotus's own music festival (seriously? lame). But I'm even more annoyed at how shortsighted Lotus was with the exclusivity contract(All Good productions is just a regional promoter). Not a smart way to promote the new album guys.

I'm not sure about other fests, but from what I understand Summer Dance it out because of time/proximity situation. It was to occur in early August, and is in Ohio as well, so they had to cancel. Total bummer because that was a really great time, and focused on Lotus.
