^ There is a special circle in Hell reserved for fools who Clay Aiken-ize the visage of Thom Yorke. It's on par with... geez, I dunno, but it's at least nine kinds of wrong.
my anxiety is going to be going crazy until I have these tickets officially purchased. I'm just hoping I get lucky like I did for Atoms for Peace, because I forsee these selling out in seconds.
I'm gonna be there regardless of price. As far as the date, I'm just partnering up with someone so that I can try and get tickets for wednesday while they try to get them for thursday. That way it doubles my chances of getting a ticket. I'm down for a meetup if I do get these tickets.
I just happen to be visiting NYC that weekend and I fly in on the 29th, so this announcement worked out well for me. This would be a great first night in town!
I don't think it takes much more than the filling out of some information to become one. No fees, no waiting period (i dont think) so you should be alright.

For some reason yesterday I had a feeling that this was coming soon, so I set up a Google announcement system for Radiohead Tour and set it to email me whenever something relevant came up. Good call, me.

Holy shit, just got the best (potential) birthday present ever from my awesome wife! We'll be in the hunt for tickets to one of the shows, making the drive from Michigan!
I'll definitely be all over WASTE on Friday...I've had good luck there in the past, hopefully that holds up. Initially I was thinking more people would be interested in the Wednesday tickets, with it being their first show here in forever, but now it seems like more people are talking about Thursday. Maybe because it's closer to the weekend, second shows are better since they work out the kinks, etc? So maybe the demand will be higher for Thursday, meaning I'll have a better chance with Wednesday? Probably doesn't really matter...all luck...but I'll be obsessively thinking about this until it's done..
Oh yeah, hotels in Manhattan are a motherfucker, I see. This would be our first trip to NYC. I'm thinking New York wouldn't be the place to try to skimp and stay at the cheapest hotel possible... I might end up getting a hotel an hour or two outside of NY and toughing out the drive after the show. Anybody have any experience with something like this in the Big Apple? (very proud of myself, not using the same description for gotham city twice)
