How do you know? Maybe it would be all summer long, in fields of free corn, with big shady trees and hammocks and ice cold beer for everyone.
Yeah I am guessing you have never been to Manchester in the off season. Also without the investment of notorious capitalist, and real estate entertainment tycoon Coran Capshaw there would be no Bonnaroo at all.

Yeah, maybe so... maybe all the musicians, concessioneers, medical personnel, security personnel, etc, would all decide to work out of the goodness of their hearts. That is assuming, of course, they can all get time off their government assigned jobs, where they work seven 12 hour shifts (without bathroom breaks) each week at their local sewing factory.
How many annual music festivals does China have?
Why do you think what we have now and China are our only two choices? I'm pushing for a new plan that hasn't been tried yet.

Im not even going to touch this one.. I don't want to get drawn into an economical debate with any of you pot smoking hippies.
Bonnaroo touts as part of being environmentally friendly that they plant tons of trees.
I doubt each of them cost 2 grand
I hate it when people do not read what I said then go out of context.
Nobody goes out to the farm after Bonnaroo is over we planted a small tree for Matt, and it took heroic efforts by roofan for it to survive the winter, and it was already a 12 foot tall tree that would cost around 500$. In order to get trees that are large enough to provide shade in the next 5 years, survive being constantly urinated on for 5 days, and live through the winter/summer without attention would cost around 2000 a tree. Sure you can buy seedlings and plant them but that will not do anyone any good
Careful there, the money coming from his lower intestine was stolen from Phish fans, which is why is smells like marijuana and ball sweat.
Still spends, don't it?
True, but I heard that merely accepting money from Phish fans, for any reason, lowers you logical capacity and ambition. I don't know if the same is true for secondary transfer, but I personally wouldn't chance it.
(Yet another humorous joke smiley face goes right here)

I will chance it. I'm getting desperate for a Sugar Daddy. If he happens to like Phish, so be it.

I would extend my sugardaddy services, but my current economic situation is laughable. Im sure you could do better than your sugar daddy buying you 3 Big and Tastys and half a tank of gas a month. That, and my better half would probably stop talking to me, if only for the notion.

I ended up walking along the road and came across the camping setup in the trees. Will post some pictures later, definitely the coolest place to camp I have seen at Bonnaroo.
Good grief. It seems every forum on here turns into a fighting match. Oh well, here's my two cents. I didn't feel it was nearly as hot or humid as last year. Last year was almost unbearable regardless of trees, canopies, etc. I am from TN and have lived here all my life so I can usually adjust to the heat. My advice is, if you can afford them, take two canopies. One to put over your tent and one as a shade tent. We started doing this last year and it really helps. Also, we had two small tent fans which helps in the early morning hours when it starts heating up.
Year after year, we try new things to stay cool, etc and keep and improve things that work and ditch things that didn't. It's a process.
