I'm sure none of you pay attention but it seems every other band that gets posted on here is playing the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix and that really excites me. Phoenix is a two hour drive from here but I really love to see this brand new venue that is the first exclusive venue by Arizona's absolute best booking and promotion company, Statside Presents, is doing really well. I have already been up there for a couple shows and have a couple on the calender and it is a really nice place. Yay!
Plus Stateside and it's creator are leading the fight against Soundstrike and their stupid boycott through the organization Artist for Action.

Saw Ryan Adams tonight, he played for 2 hours and 15 minutes and did a Ratt cover (which I guess he's been doing on tour,) three improv songs (Dracula being a great cook, a song as the Motorhead sweater he was wearing, show recap song) and was all around amazing and definitely "on."
