these must be fake, pretty sure korn and staind are legally bound to play pensacola and biloxi whenever they tour.
lol, that was my first real concert back in 2000. Issues tour at the Arrowhead Pond
HAHAHA I went to that too and it was ridiculous the diff between that tour and the year before because of The Matrix. Half the dudes in the crowd looked like Neo.
Never seen Dead and CO should I try and get a ticket to the show here in Charlotte?
Did you like the Dead? How do you feel about their associated CO?
I found out I loved Phish at Roo in 19. Most jam bands aren’t my thing but I don’t mind String Cheese from going to Hulaween so many times. I have no thoughts or feelings towards CO as of this moment lol

i think you should catch what's left of the Grateful Dead while you can. at some point in your life you might start delving into their catalog and if you do you'll be glad you had that live experience. the band is great. john mayer is great. bob weir has the kind of voice that isn't negatively affected by age (and he's one of my favorite vocalists of all time).
lots of pro shot youtube videos of dead and company shows, check out a few songs and see what you think. but as we know youtube videos don't always tell the whole story. i think you should experience it yourself.

I can’t think of too many jam bands that I’ve seen that suck live, but a couple were tedious. Dead and Company is essential shit you need to see while you can. You won’t get Phil Lesh who isn’t in D&C, but Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann are all Grateful Dead. They usually play with Oteil Burbridge (bass/vocals), Jeff Chimenti (keys) and John Mayer though I haven’t checked to see if that’s who is on this tour. Mayer was a wildcard for me when I saw them, but he knows his role when he plays Grateful Dead music and fits in way better than I thought he should. Also, they can be considered in the ‘jam’ genre but are the pioneers of stage groove shit. It’s a mix of hippie, space, rock, country, groove and shit. Maybe the grandfathers of jam.
The biggest problem with familiarizing yourself with Dead music is the size of the catalog along with all their friends and relations bands related acts and the likelihood that they can and will cover almost anything. I didn’t follow the setlists that closely in 2018, but I don’t think they played the same set twice and never did. There might be a few tunes that carry over to most shows on a tour, but not many. Like I said, they’ll play Dead, Ratdog, Bobby & the Midnights, solo material, covers, etc. there are a couple songs you might be familiar with from the radio (Truckin’, Sugaree, Sugar Magnolia, Friend of the Devil, Fire on the Mountain, Uncle John’s Band, etc.).
Dead & Co are a good time. I didn't get into the Grateful Dead until after D&C played Roo, but my appreciation has only grown since then. It's also kinda just wholesome to watch a crowd of completely arrythmic white people of various ages just being happy and goofy. Deadheads can be an odd bunch, but they're enjoyable to exist around.

^ I saw Ghostmane once. It was weird as it was pretty much death rap. All kinds of chicks were stage and barricade diving. I don’t know if I’d be enthusiastic about seeing him again but it could be worth a pass by depending on one’s taste for the macabre.
