tbh, it's a terrible venue. Awful sound (it's in a warehouse), $10 parking if you don't find a spot on street, and really overpriced drinks for the city. $10 beers and $12-15 mixed drinks.

To me that sounds about right for a major city.
The awful sound makes it a dealbreaker IMO. Things like shitty parking, expensive drinks and coat check, and asshole security are annoying, but don't necessarily get in the way of the music experience.

the music experience would have to be stellar to balance those things out though

Indeed. Yet having good quality sound and good sightlines from the floor goes a long ways. For instance, the House of Blues in Boston sucks hard, but I'd still purchase a floor ticket to see my favorite bands there. Whereas I've also been to awful venues where I'd much rather travel to another tour stop than to see acts there.
I think I'm gonna try to buy tickets for Garth's Nashville date on Friday morning. As far as I can tell, every ticket in the entire stadium is the same price, and there's no presale of any kind. I've never bought tickets in a situation like this, any tips?

The show we went to the venue had a mask requirement, but it means nothing if they don’t enforce it. It wasn’t enforced, so half the people didn’t wear one.

I know not everyone can or does, but I still keep using a mask when I go out and walk my dog while its still pretty warm out. Just as a way to keep up the endurance of wearing one for extended periods of time while being active. I remember a couple weeks ago some older guy in my neighborhood was telling me that I didnt need to keep wearing it, and I responded in kind with ''never hurts to be ready''.

It comes down to the audience thats at the show more than anything. Are they willing to do it or are they selfish assholes. Here in L.a the last few days there were a few indoor edm shows and only the day before was Live Nation posting about mask requirements and such. I check that night on instagram to see how it is and nobody cares. Theyre looking to appease the city guidelines but know there are risks still being taken.
