Probably gonna buy tickets for Koe Wetzel in the next week or two. Not really crazy over his music, leans a little too bro-country with distortion for my tastes, but he is a beast live and for $40, I can't beat it.
just got an email that vaccination, not a negative test will be required for phoebe bridgers. the venue is allowing for either option for other shows, so i assume this goes for her whole tour.

Same for the St. Louis show. They've even moved the show from an indoor venue to an outdoor venue, and masks are required for all.

back to an indoor mask mandate in WA State, still hoping to be moshing to Osees in a couple of weeks though
I have a show coming up on Friday and I have no idea how this is going to work. A full capacity show where people are going to be moshing...masks just seem pretty silly. I'd prefer vax/negative covid test to get in.
Edit: okay my venue literally changed their policy to this a couple hours ago lol

Good luck to all the outdoor shows in the fall. Wilco and Sleater Kinney moved to an outdoor venue here and it was rained out 5 songs into SK. No refunds. Then they did an indoor show the next night in another city with vax proof.

I think Wilco and SK are fortunate alot of their tour stops had viable solutions for outdoors and were able to switch them with such short notice. I think not playing all major cities helped because some out of the way venues were just sitting there. Its going to be a tough late fall/winter for most of the country if artists want to perform outdoors and not risk indoor stuff.
About to go see Big Thief in about 30 mins, super stoked!!
edit: holy shit they were amazing live! i'm seriously contemplating going to pitchfork to see them now.
Was at this show as well. Cool venue and they killed it!
Only other time I had seen them was at Sasquatch.
Yeah, Garden Amp is the only outdoor spot around so cal thats even small and theyve gotten a ton of good shows cause of it. Would be cool to have a space like that in LA other than The Ford cause they dont book the same type of acts.
