I don’t know where to post this, but is it just me or has most of the 3rd party market tanked recently? Firefly weekend passes were going for less than $100 at one point. It isn’t just festivals either. I can get an IDLES ticket for their DC show for $20 now. James Blake’s show in Atlanta is going for $10 too. Look, I’m not complaining. I just find it interesting. Until things get back to normal, I’m not sure if I’ll ever buy a ticket when they go on sale, unless of course, it’s a hot ticket like Billie or something.
Yeah I've had to list tickets below face value to get any interest but these were also shows that I've had tickets to since 2019 (Mdou Moctar which was sold out and Wilco which was not sold out). That being said most shows around me do not sell out any way.

garageland any idea if it’s worth seeing this iteration of Gang of Four on this tour? Jon King and Hugo Burnham are involved
Dave Allen is out but they added Sara Lee who played in GoF in the Eighties.
The big news is David Pajo is playing guitar with them this tour. That’s either gonna be really really special or a fucking hot mess. I’m debating the drive to DC but if I lived in a city with a stop, I’d do it in a heartbeat.

Yeah I saw David Pajo’s name floating around but only after you mentioned this did I realize he’s in Slint. That is wild!!

He’s got a pretty long resume in addition but I’m still super confused as to why Pajo. I should just be glad they’re touring.

Don't recall TBH when I last checked. But that would make sense given all the refunds that have been happening.
I also just read in Variety that open-air stadium tours are a safer bet than arena tours for covid concerns, so from that perspective the change also makes sense.
Probably cause edm doucheheads still revere them as gods for some reason.
Another underplay!
