Better actual headlining shows than festivals. Wouldn't you rather see them play for 90 min or more at their own show than for under an hour while a crowd angling to get a good position for The 1975 or Chappell Roan or Noah Kahan is taking up most of the space near the stage and halfway back and chattering away throughout the whole set because they really don't give a fuck about TVOTR?
1000% agree but also the state of touring the US in 2024/2025, you almost have to do some festivals to keep the tour out of the red
In that case, if it's the right festival with a sympatico lineup, a longer stage-closing set somewhere other than the main stage, etc. it could be fine, but I've seen firsthand what happens when festivals get careless with the scheduling and a lot of fans wind up having a bad time of one sort or another.

Only gotten covid from family/coworkers but Covid prevented me from going to Chilish Gambino last month (didn't have tickets but was planning on buying them day of)
Hell yeah! Only caught TVOTR on the festival circuit before their hiatus and my December calendar is currently empty, so Christmas is coming early this year!
And sending witchcraft your way, Jorge, for an instantaneous recovery so you can see your favorite band, which I assume is Twenty One Pilots.
Weirdly, my temperature has been normal all day, and I feel fine. I have no idea what happened - I can’t recall ever having a sickness of which that was the only symptom and it only lasted a few hours.
I’m still going to test again for COVID tomorrow, but so far, the witchcraft has worked. Crossing my fingers things work out for 21 Pilots.
Just popped a 100.7 degree fever two days before seeing my favorite band of all time. COVID test negative so far - I’ll try again in a couple days, but this is some cursed shit.
No shade on their own material, but I'd love to see a Pearl Jam all-covers show. There's a non-zero chance that they play this at Fenway in two weeks, although not necessarily both nights. (I wouldn't mind hearing what they'd do with More Than A Feeling, either.)

Per a press release from the band: “Dave caught COVID at a Creed concert and will need some time to recover. Please keep him in your prayers during this difficult time.”

in a zoom meeting right now had to turn off my camera to laugh at this.

also i think we should make a rule whereby if you are only playing NY, LA, and London you can't call it a "tour". even if you throw san francisco in there it still doesn't count.

Hey, la only gets 3 shows this time. Cant get mad at that.

I heard thats why dave is sitting out. tunde asked if he wanted to go on tour and Dave got violently upset, throwing furniture yelling it's not a tour it's just 3 cities

I'm just glad I don't have to wait to see whether LCD Soundsystem is doing their usual December thing this year to feel better about paying another 12 months' worth of absurd New York City rent and living expenses.
