Welp Fontaines DC American tour is not off to a great start. Grian is sick, first 3 dates cancelled, wouldn't be shocked if the tour get scrapped so he can go get affordable healthcare back home.
The Chisel cancelled their US tour after getting jumped by fascist punks in Chicago
Not a good weekend for bands from across the pond.
Fuck good thing I came here, I didnt see any notice and I got a ticket for their LA show Thursday. Rumour mill saying the west coast might get the axe for recovery time..

Yeah if it's strep as rumored might be another week minimum off. My show is October 4th. I guess consolation if they cancel Special Interest is playing the same night at another venue(which is rare we have 2 great shows on the same night), so I would have that as backup but I've been waiting 5 years to see Fontaines and doubt they reschedule a Kansas date while West Coast would absolutely get another run.
Somebody was saying some kind of something on an Oasis fandom X feed that North American dates will be going on sale this Friday. Take it with a grain of whatever.
I was definitely disappointed in Liam's voice during that Wembley performance that's all over the internet. He sounded much better than that when I saw him a couple of years before the pandemic.

The city of Charlotte is announcing a “major” concert at the NFL stadium on Thursday. My theory is The Weeknd is announcing the rest of his global stadium dates.

These things are almost always Billy Joel.
God, yeah. Do not fall for the "major concert" thing whenever they say it. If its The Weeknd or anything theyll tease it proper.
