My flight got in early so I made it to the Greyhound station right as the bus was supposed to leave, but my taxi driver knew the bus driver and called him and told him to wait. I got dropped off in Ozark at 11pm Wednesday, and they got one of the WET volunteers to to come down the mountain and pick me up. Then on the way back from Harvest, I stood at the top of Mulberry Mountain with a sign that said "Little Rock Airport?" for an hour and a half at 8pm until a van of kids from Louisianna came and picked me up. They dropped me off at the airport at midnight, and i set up an Eno outside of the Little Rock airport and camped til 5am. Then I got on the flight to Atlanta, rode MARTA to 5 Points, and walked home. Quite the adventure.

Wow!! Now that is journey, but worth it I am sure what a great festival. I hope it does not get a lot bigger, this year and last year have not only been the most fun, but had the best music of any fest I have ever gone to. Did you see when Bela pointed out the ISS, and then played Flying Saucer Dudes?
This was my first harvest experience (my 10th festival and my 4th on Mulberry Mountain) and I have to say it was the most laid back and best ran festival I've ever been to. Hands down better weather than any other festival I've been to. I hope to see this thing continue and stay around the same size. Great people great venue and killer music. My favorite shows of the weekend were probably Bela Fleck/Flecktones and Todd Snider's set. Currently listening to the 7 walkers show and it would have been my favorite had I not fallen asleep and missed it.
Sad I missed this, especially since it's only an hour away. I haven't been since 2008 (The year of Ike and THUNDERDOME!), when there was maybe 2 or 3 thousand people there. Maybe. I really think it was less. Crossing my fingers I get to go with you guys next year!
