Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If you want more than that, start buying. Narragansett, the semi-official beer of Inforoo Northeast Meetup Shitshow.
And Quack/Scrog, I have seen variety 12 packs from Magic Hat which feature #9, Wacko, Blind Faith, and one other one I can't recall. Might be up your guys alley.
Holls: I also picked up this...

Mike D and Sarah are coming down to see MMJ in ATL Sat. and staying with me. We'll have to arrange a Skype broadcast from poolside on Saturday afternoon.
Oh, I can't wait to see the expressions on my colleagues' faces when I tell them "I'm gonna have a Hooker this weekend!"
ps - Zen, honey...I'm not sure any of us will be able to operate machinery by Saturday afternoon, but we'll try! I know the Skype app on my iPad works because MikeD set it up - it's my drunken brain that I'm worried about! Y'all have a blast @ MMJ!!!
Me thinks she'll be alright. Though she was wondering why I bought Narragansett rather than something else. Not that she has drank in the last 30 years, so I dunno where her argument came from.
And my mom barely knows how to use a computer, much less knows what Skype is.
Mike D and Sarah are getting to my house around 1. Within an hour we'll probably be poolin' it and will be ready for broadcast at any point till we get ready to leave for MMJ, which is only about 10 mins from my house.
Well that might work... our Saturday festivities are supposed to get underway in the mid- to late- afternoon (3 or 4'ish). Those of us who plan to wear the party shenanipants Friday nite should be post-hangover caffeinated* by then! "See" y'all next Saturday!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Zen - yes we both do! Bit we are both IBM mainframe dinosaurs. We can not do anything but work with our work 'puters and the other two are towers. Plus we're old farts
We did just get a camera so we can learn how to skype with my mom who just bought the FLA snowbird house. Hopefully the 'youngins will learn us this weekend.
Is anyone attending a veggie? (Vegan/vegetarian) Working on the cooking and shopping to-do list now. I've taken this week off (for the most part) so can do prep and all that good stuff. But will definately be taken up the offers to pitch in with pretty much anything that requires doing on saturday. (Especially shucking the corn. We will get that fresh picked sat am, and while i LOVE it, the shucking makes me sneeze like a crazy. ) <- and i mean the real corn on the cob
Coming from the Volunteer State, you can count on me to help with just about everything. I even shuck corn. But I draw the line at bathing cats. You're on your own with that one!
OK, so now I've already met more than half of the party. Ran into Idio and Vicki (sp.?) yesterday ... oddly enough at a Belgian beer fest in a package store. And then found out they were in the row in front of me for MMJ last night.
I'm listening to Dondante for the fifth time (at least four, I think five) in the last 24 hours. Just total mindblown.
Did I mention I was at a package store yesterday? I better not be the only one buying beers for this shindig.
Thats awesome LD!! I cant wait to meet the rest and I am SO hoping Katy Mae will be changing her profile name to Katy Did on Monday.
Off from work this week and full into 8/20 mode. Sorry this is long...
Sleep space.. there's a bunch of us. Think i mentioned before - two queens, two twins, two couches, two lazy king/queens. Added four twin air mattresses, one queen air mattress, and an EZ up with the all around bug screen if anyone is feeling the outdoor love. Will make sure there are tons of pillows available, and whatever blankies we have. If you go for a sleep space meant for two please be considerate and find a pass-out-partner. ;D Not going to stress (anymore) beyond that.. Quacker reminded me we are Roo people. ;D Bring along whatever will make you comfortable if above doesn't do it.
LD - maybe you can pick out the menu and update first page or FB from here and as others confirm? Thanks sweet!
(And all speak up yes/no.. Especially if there is a specific morning ingrediants needed. Quacker does french roast, i do 'regular' tea. Scrog like a specific creamer. Have a friend that needs Coke with caffeine and another that must have diet pepsi- no caffeine. Morning comforts are priority for me. Quacker - 2 am treats. Speak up. Grocery shopping is wednesday for the most part.)
On our list..
Sat aft pickies: Stuffies (tobasco and malt vinegar will be available) Stuffed mushrooms (family/veggie friendly) Bacon wrapped scallops chips and dip
Anytime: Grill will be on through out - have at it hamburger/cheeseburgers and fixin's Saugies (Good Hotdogs ) Meatballs and sausages for sang-wa-chiz potatoe salad (not vegan friendly) watermelon bevies corn Jello shots (I hope!!)
Saturday chow later eve: Lobsta's steamed - garlic butter for dipping Clams Zuppa (cherry stones in a portuguese broth) Lasagne Might do rolled stuffed egg plant Fresh picked corn on the cob
Some type of yummy dessert that we will not be making ourselves
This is all going to have to be Roo style.. every one is family.. 'man' the pot, grill, stove, oven, bevy blender, or whatever so it all comes together like the sweet music we love.
Liquor run tomorrow. Vodka, Capt, Irish, Jim B, Tequila, and a little champagne for sunday am mimosas as needed. (Oh B Mary mix too) Quacker is in charge of the beer run. No worries LD.. Quacker is a good beer shopper. If i have not named it and ya want it, bring it along or speak up really quick.
There's been some quiet chat about a sunday brunch too. Will be picking up a bunch of fixin's.. First one on their feet with kitchen skills gets it all rolling.
We are on island time here.. show up when you want to, early or late, no worries, no hurries.
I will know for sure tomorrow afternoon. I found out today my home store is opening Thursday, so I won't be at my training store anymore. I see the general manager tomorrow for the first time in forever so i have to ask him about taking at least saturday off. Cross your fingers!
I sent a message to Bonnie and Katy about the Western Shuttle. I think those are the only two who need that. Trying to figure out when to leave here, have them show up here.
As mentioned earlier, I got some Gansetts. (Sure beats the piss out of Bud/Bud Lite.) I got Hooker Irish Red for me and Holls. Anything else, surprise me. Just no MillerCoors stuff (including Blue Moon and Killians) or Leinenkugels. If a beer is pro-Walker, I'm anti that.
I think I'll end up having a talk at some point with Freefest people, try to make plans for that. Or figure out if there are plans for that.
I have to admit, FM that menu looks awesome. I think, I just got a stuffie! I will help where ever I can. I was born shucking corn. I had mention making some homemade Mac N Chz, but is there room for that? and yes, I will toot my own horn and say, "this is some good ass Mac N Chz."(at least that is what people tell me) ;D
Holy cholesterol, Batman! That menu looks amaaaaazing! So much for having lost 15lbs this month! Damn, I see some serious yoga & boot camp penance action when I get back home - but it'll be soooo worth it!!! ;D
LD - you met John & Vicki?!? That's awesome! I can't wait to see them - and everybody else! And have a Hooker with you!

Plenty of room for any/all nomage. Kitchen is open to anyone who wants to use it. Though we may have to ask the folks driving to take home leftovers is we have too much!

No worries LD. Got some Magic Hat and Sam Summer Style variety now. I'll be doing some beer shopping during the week and will definitely put some Smuttynose into the mix along with others. And more Gansett tallboys of course.
LOL @ LD. I think your mother and my mother went to the same school. I do have one question, I would like to know, what is gay rape? because that still might happen, weather Don or Fawn are involved or not. Like, if I raped you I could see that as gay rape, I would call it ass raped, but whatever. If Holls puts on a strap-on and then has her way with you, I would not call that gay rape, but I would still call it ass raped. Remember drunk party rule number 1, if you pass out with shoes and socks on, ass rape, as lot of other things, are fair game. If you pass out with your shoes and socks off, then no drunk/passed out games are allowed.
LD, I would bring a butt plug, a cork works well, or just remember to take your sock off.
I just met LD over the weekend by pure coincidence.
Not a vegetarian, however I only eat chicken and turkey as far as land creatures go - but pretty much anything that lives underwater is fair game unless you've got whale blubber on the menu. So on that note, I'll be making chicken francese and grilled vegetables - and perhaps some type of dessert, too? I'll have to think about this.

YUM!!!!
And you'll be down to just chickens after you meet the neighborhood 'free range' Turkeys.
