I like college football but it can't touch the NFL IMO. My Panthers sealed a deal with DeAngelo Williams and Charles Johnson in the past 2 days. We Thomas Davis coming back as well as Jeff Otah. Cam Newton is going to be beast. We got Shockey coming in. With last year being so terrible I am ready for a new and healthy season.
Anything NFL goes here. Rep your team, fanasty, trash talk, etc.

I've been waiting impatiently for someone to make this thread.
Let's talk about the Jets going after Namdi. Apparently Sanchez is prepared to take a pay cut to help pay for it. Him and Revis? Game over for quarterbacks.

It would be almost impossible for any team to have a passing game against them except for the Colts or Pats. Brady and Manning always find a way somehow
At least my Vikings got a QB in McNabb that can hold things together while Ponder and/or Webb mature. Not a huge McNabb fan but a good deal for a 6th round pick and $7M (Pretty avg QB salary, I mean Tavaris Jackson got $4M and Leinart is getting about $3M as a backup)
SKOL VIKINGS!

I'm that guy. With all apologies to the rest of the site.
Oh, if anyone's got a Inforoo Fantasy league in the works, I want in.
I will second that on the fanasty league. If no one else wants to set one up I will set up a 12 team league. We already got 2 people. Yours truly and Lowerdeck

Not in the playoffs last year.
Full disclosure: I am a Jets fan.
Nnamdi would have to take 2-3 million less to play on the Jets than he would get to rot away in San Fran or Houston.
He and Revis would cancel the top 2 receivers on the opposing team every single week, which would let Rex use his ridiculous blitz packages.
But the odds of him coming to the Jets are minimal, at best.

The Eagles are apparently choosing to not resign any of their free agents, which kinda surprised me. I would've liked to see SS Mikell or MLB Bradley stick around. If they do sign with St Louis I wish them all the best reuniting with Steve Spagnulo. I really want to see this Kolb trade get done so that we can sure up our defense with Rogers-Cromartie. I hear DE Jason Babin is in play for the Eagles as well.
Also I'm glad to see McNabb escape Washinton and make his way up to Minnesota. They got a great deal in that trade and he should fit well in their offense.

We need to get Asomugha to help this pass rush with some secondary protection and also to cover Desean Jackson. I would have loved it if Dallas had drafted Prince Amukamara, but Tyron Smith should be a Pro Bowl caliber tackle for years to come. And I do think and hope that Romo will bounce back with a good year in '11. I can't wait to see what Dez Bryant can accomplish with a full season as a starter. It's tough being a die hard fan of a struggling team.
We got four in the league, Eight to go. So far it is: CPK, Lowerdeck, flanzonyc, and RadioSpirit. I am gonna send PMs to you 3 to get your emails so I can invite you to the league. The league is first come first serve til we reach 12 teams. Post in the thread that you want in and I will get your email. Im setting it up through espn. So if you dont have an espn account and want in the league go ahead and sign up on espn and let me know you want in.
Just listened to the radio where the hosts called up Albert Haynesworth to get details on his trade to New England. He sidelined all the questions by talking about food, the dude was like Bubba from Forrest Gump. I admit he has a good sense of humor. But I say good riddance and he thought Shanahan was bad, Belicheck's camp is gonna kick his ass.
I do love me some football. Personally, I like college ball over the Pros. personal choice, my football coach use to say, as many other coaches have said, 'There is no I in TEAM!'. Good point, but there is a 'ME' in TEAM and the NFL has too many 'ME'. I am a Dolphin fan! Go Phins! I like our draft pick, not only did he come from my Gators, but he is also a great offensive guard(not a good center ), Mike Pouncey. I think he will add a lot to our running game, because god knows we need help with that, passing game needs some work, but lets start with the basics. We need to be able to run the ball. Bread and butter. If we are 4th and 1. I want to know with Ronnie Brown or Ricky William and Jake Long and now Pouncey, I need to know, I want to know we can get that one yard. Man-on-man, power-vs-power, here we come, up the middle and right down your throat. I think we will be able to do that this year and the Miami Dolphins will not be 7-9 come January 2012. ;D
You were in the chat league, which has also returned - expanded to twelve, even - but might be full by this point. Commissioner is sangreal, check with him.
