As an adult it's really hard to eat something that looks like the raw form of a couch cushion. But I remember as a kid eating a few fluffernutters. I was never a big fan but some kids in school had them in their lunch every day.
I dislike marshmallows in general, but the idea of a giant tub of melted marshmallow that you can scoop up kicks up my gag reflex. Why would you ruin a perfectly good peanut butter sandwich like that?!?
Sometimes when you see class, you have to take it. Especially if it's $4. I'm odd. And getting older. hah.
I grew up with it in many forms, though I don't profess to be any kind of expert. Mfs forgot more shit than i will ever know, And there are so many eras and reactions to those eras spawning completely different ideas. For me, I like 70s progressive Jazz the most along with fusion. I always preferred the most complicated shit (Bruford Square Root of QED, Sample and Hold, etc.) even though I can't count time. I like some of the bebop era. And these days, I like street brass probably the best to see live even if it is just sort of a jazz, African, funk, city mashup.
"?" was what did you get? It's the random forum.
Donald Byrd, Lonnie Liston Smith, Yussef Lateef - I'm catching up on some items and areas that I should have had long ago. Your fusion obsv is spot on. I think it will be an area that will shine these next few years, as we are already seeing it with Floating Points, Kamasi, Yussef Kamaal, etc. - I believe it will be an excellent time to observe what comes out of these areas. When we feel frustration and fear, and the horizon is blurred, we tend to create some magic within the arts.
Fluffernutters beat PBJs all day. But PB & honey with a little sprinkle of cinnamon beats all others.
Put some sliced banana on your PB and honey sandwhich to take it to the next level.
Bananas and PB are my favorite sandwich. I will try it with the honey next time I eat it (tonight).
Side note: I fucking LOVE marshmallows, I remember that jet-puff stuff someone posted, but I don't remember ever eating it. I feel like my step-father, Ike would have been all about that shit though. But marshmallows...the big huge roaster ones. They need not be roasted. YUM!
Whoa, so I just realized I'm going to be in Idaho for the total solar eclipse this year. I'll be nearly in the center line.
Never seen a total solar eclipse, really psyched for that actually.
"A total solar eclipse last darkened soil on the U.S. mainland on Feb. 26, 1979. But August 2017 will mark the first time in 99 years that such an event is "readily available to people from coast to coast."
