We sell these marshmallow bars at work, and I swear to gosh that they're the best things I've ever had.
What is brown butter
To add to the response above, brown butter can add nuttiness to baked items that is so good. For example, these Brown Butter Snickerdoodles are freakin' amazing.

Knoxville has a radio station that was but rock then went to talk radio. As of a week or so ago, it went to a more indie friendly format with some butt rock mixed in. For whatever reason, they're mixing a bunch of classic emo in there. I caught myself singing along to Dashboard Confessional yesterday which is generally guilt inducing but doubly so because I didn't listen to them the first time around.

Is it real as in did it actually come from campus health? No.
My understanding is it was the VDP (a dorm) councils creative attempt to get more people to show up to their council meeting.
My hope is that several people stormed out of the meeting angrily. "What? It's just a regular meeting? This is bullshit!! I thought we were gonna talk about anal!"
A 13 year-old girl walks into the Guthrie with her family and sees our escalator, which is one of the longest in the midwest. She says, Oh my gosh! What I wouldn't give to put a sled at the top of that escalator and ride it down? Nothing, I'd break my neck." Very sensible, that one.

One of the longest escalators in the mid-west? Definitely adding that to my list of things to see

I bet you get a rise out of it.
Hehe.
That's only if you take it going up. If you go the other way, it will probably be a let down.
Oh I'm getting that. At first I thought it was my boy Vance Kelly's artwork. I'm excited for this show. You know I love Maynard. LOVE!
My BOY did do these posters! I went to college with Vance. I really hope I can get one.
Make sure you get there as early as you can then, you know how quick those posters go, and there's only 100 of them. They only had one person working the merch table at the SA show too, was surprised by that. SA really got the shaft with posters. The NOLA and Austin ones have been amazing. Pretty cool you know the artist!

That was what I was thinking. I love Vance and have several of his works in my house. I've never had to buy one before though. I guess if I want Maynard's sig I'll have to buy one and not just get a print from Vance.
Side note. When I saw Vance create his art for the first time, I was blown away. I've never seen someone draw as detailed and complex as quickly as him. Each line art is a separate layer that he hand draws, then he scans each layer and recreates in illustrator and photoshop as a final design. It's amazing. One poster is probably between four and seven layers of hand draw sketched line art. I knew he was going to blow up in the art scene the day I met him. I'm pretty creative and really good at what I do, but Vance is 100% more talented than I could ever dream to be.

Of the 100 posters, a certain number are signed by the band and the rest are just signed by the poster artist. I think the band signed ones were either $100 or $120, and the artist signed ones were $40.
Ya, never heard of him before, but by evidence of that poster it's obvious he's going places! I like that they try and use a local artist for each of the posters for the tour. Each city has a different artist doing the poster for that show.

He's been blowing up in the clothing/assoceries field lately. He does artwork for a bunch of metal, hard rock musicians that come to NOLA, and he is now on shirts and I think he has a belt buckle. You can find him on Facebook, and check out some of his art. I can't get the link up with in my phone but he's in my friend list.

So, I just had a singalong to "I Want It That Way" by the backstreet boys at the bar we went to after the wedding. So beautiful. Which is weird to say but it was!
