Anyone familiar with Clashfinder? Anyone know how to change the time format so I don't see 24-hour format and instead can make a schedule that's just afternoon to night?

i think you can click on settings on top right or something and change that. i'd need a clashfinder to look at to be sure but that's what i recall from the past

Looks like I'll be in Chicago again this year. Only this time it's happening the same week as Bonnaroo . I knew it was likely which is one of a few reasons I had to skip this year.
Will begin looking into any local shows/concerts for night time. Will be there Tuesday and Wednesday night next week.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
(I really do think this will be invented within the next 15 years)
I mean, I go to school with a bunch of tech geeks that invent shit in their spare time and am interning at an agency that invented socks that turn off your netflix for you when you fall asleep. someone's gotta be able to make something!!!!
In other news, I asked a door to door solicitor for his home address so I could wake him up to buy my special meaningless shiz. And slammed the door in his face.
Fuck with my stuff all you want but don't mess with my naps. Shit gets real, quick.

I move to pittsburgh tomorrow and I still have miles of packing to go. wwhhhhhyyyyyyyy is there no packing robot??
They do. It's in the yellow pages under "Movers". In a pinch (and a cheap alternative) friends work wonders.
but movers don't sort through and organize all your shit. they take the already-boxed shit and move that around. I guess I could've flown my grandma out or something.

I spent a couple of summers as a mover during college. You'd be SHOCKED at how many times we'd show up at a house and they hadn't done anything. We would pack up all of their stuff, move it, and unpack it. Bills were insane.

WHAT???? I did not know that was a thing people did. slash if movers charge by the hour, that's gotta expensive AF.

When my brother's ex-wife moved out of the apartment me and her shared while he was in Korea, he paid for movers to do this with all her shit. She was lazy and didn't do shit all day (she was a nasty bitch). I think they got mad at her for not doing anything because they stole all sorts of shit. (They were married at the time, but have been divorced for YEARS now)

Should I go see Eagles of Death Metal tonight: yea or nay?
I have lame real life friends. I love them, but they're kinda lame in the music department.
Also, does anyone know if they have an opener on this tour? I'm finding nothing on my search of the interwebs. I just don't want to sit through something awful if I don't have to.

Yea
just got here. There's no one here and the opening band was a bunch of ladies that rocked pretty hard. Kinda wish I caught more of their set. Oh well!

So much room for dancing at least.
This is why I always live by the rule: "Go see the opening band"
More often than not, they're going to be good. The headliner didn't pick to tour with them because they suck. There's times when the opener out plays the headliner.
And in the off chance they suck, consider being a member of their audience your good deed for the day.
Plus, getting there early means you get a good spot for the show too.

My hesitance comes when the venue doesn't list who is opening. Tonight they only had "TBA" listed. I've been screwed before.
Wandering around the city alone for a few hours while Jack is in class and I decided to grab a bite to eat in this restaurant purely because I liked the song they were playing. The food is great. Goes to show that good taste in food and music often overlap.

So, tonight at the flag football game, we were the guest. The opposing coach did not like that we were sitting on "his" side. Who the fuck knew. So as the kids were shaking hands after the game, us parents start following them. Stupid ass coach says "get your asses over to the other side." I stop. I say really several times, say we did nothing to deserve that. He states he wasn't talking to us, but to his kids. Which is WORSE. Good lord, I wanted to go off on him. Instead I am calling the rec department tomorrow to complain.
Coaches are the worst sometimes. The year my younger one played soccer, everyone was generally cool. That is until the end of the season when they played their tournament. The opposing coach (whose team was unsurprisingly from my hometown. NotMitchelBade can relate) was a jerk to his players screaming at them for most of the game. At one point, he screamed across the field at my kid because he felt my seven year old was intentionally taking too long on a throw in to kill his team's momentum. Things about got real then.
This is why I quit competitive sports in that town when I was about 14. This was the norm for parents of 7-year-olds. Yuck.

The park association changed the locks on the gates for the park. Our landlord hasn't bothered to give anyone in our building their copy yet. It's so beautiful out! I just wanna lay in the park and read.
