Putting together a playlist for my office holiday party tomorrow night is proving to be a bitch. I have to get the people dancing. Obviously I am using Tidal so I can have a few Prince songs on the list.

The Drifters version of White Christmas is a crowd pleaser

I will never NOT associate that song with Home Alone.

I'm pretty sure I washed my hair two times yesterday and no times today. I feel icky.
Because of my curls and because I am a dirty girl, I usually don't wash my hair but a couple times a week at the most. It is usually perfect on the third day of not washing it. It is way too dry to wash daily or even every other day. It doesn't get oily until at least day 4 or 5 which is when I usually decide to wash it.
I like Seinfeld, but Jerry is by far the worst thing about the show. He's not a good actor at all (which they directly pointed out when they did the arc where he and George do the pilot for the sitcom), and the character is really not likeable (although they are all pretty awful people when you think about it).
I'm really bummed that, except for the first season, the Drew Carey Show isn't available streaming or on DVD. I was actually looking it up last night, and apparently, he said in a Reddit AMA that it's an issue with getting the rights to music that they used in the show being too expensive, so nobody thinks they can make their money back off of it.
The State ran into a similar issue when they were getting ready to release the series on DVD. So most of the skits have completely different music than when they originally aired.
Twinsies. The State was the first thing I thought about too. I feel like I waited a decade for it to be released on DVD and the members always said it was the music holding it up.
I shampoo once a week but condition everytime I shower
90% true for me. Sometimes it looks too good to even wet it in the shower, so I won't. My curls don't always look nice and you have to pick and choose those washes/conditioning. I'll pull back my hair when it is clean for the same reasons. Curls look dumb, they won't curl right, into a bun they go.

I'm jealous of you both. I have very thin, very fine hair. It gets super oily after about 24 hours.
And I'm terrified that I'm going to have a female balding problem when I get older.
Conditioner has a cleansing agent in it, which will clean your hair without stripping it. The first week or two would feel weird but I swear you could do it too!
Monie is going to be upset with a lot of you regarding all this about Friends.
I just read some of the blasphemy in the past few pages. It's seriously like I don't even know you people. GAWD! Cap'n Mac just summed it up for me: "It's Inforoo, they hate anything good."
Friends is life. Australia Netflix doesn't have Friends on it and I'm legit already anxious about what what I'm going to do without having the entire series at my fingertips.
Shampooing everyday stimulates your hair/scalp to produce more oils, making it so can't go too many days without shampooing. Sort of a negative feedback loop.
On days when I'm not shampooing, I don't get my hair wet at all. I don't like the way my hair feels if I get it wet without shampooing.

I've heard that, but it's hard to imagine how I can break the cycle now because I can't really show up to work with gross hair (on purpose anyway; today I've been hiding in my office and hoping no one stops by).
I think I may try Katy Mae 's suggestion about using conditioner instead of shampoo over a weekend sometime.
I have long, thick, dry curly hair. I have a cocktail of hair products I use to make myself presentable. I only finger comb it (unless I'm tying it up)... Sometimes I just tie it in a big knot because I don't want to deal with it.
Oh, and if it's windy or humid, I will turn into Mufasa.

I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. Stopped conditioning in the shower because it was making my hair greasy faster. I use an Argan oil conditioning treatment once a week and a spray leave-in conditioner. Rarely blow dry.
If anyone has any tips and tricks for an incredibly dry scalp, please throw them my way. My scalp has been acting out lately and I've tried almost everything.
