Never played the part of coffee house wifi mooch before today. Sitting at a Starbucks at 42nd and Lex trying to work around the people watching is enjoyable!

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Anyone else still have teen angst even though they're in their twenties (or later)?
If you mean the kind of angst specific to teenagers, the kind that's wrapped up in "what am I going to do with my life?" "what's going to happen to me and my friends as we get older?" "am I going to turn out like my parents?" "why doesn't anyone understand me?" "will I be a shizzy parent like my dad?" "am I ever going to find true love?" and "why are all these older people trying to force me to be someone I'm not and bottle up my creativity and gifts?", then, yes, I still have teen angst. And I'm pretty old.

Uh, dude. I work on 42nd and Lex and walk past that Starbucks two times every day (to and from my office).

Does that Starbucks have the Clover in it? If it is the one I am thinking of, I am there every other month or so on my way to the Metlife building.
Just wondering if there has ever been a thread here on best holiday music or movie soundtracks/songs in movies?
Caught part of She's Having a Baby this weekend and was reminded how perfect Kate Bush's This Woman's Work is in that movie. Gets me every time. But then again, I'm just an old woman.
It's an expensive doll company. Chicago has one of the only stores for the country. And people go crazy for it. I'm expecting the garageland line to be a top seller!

I forgot about the books. I think they also do plays now too. And I think they have some animated movies. Plus I know they have a restaurant in the store.
I know this store only too well. My wife has two of the originals and their complete collections of gear and books. When they were discontinuing those dolls, a fortune was spent collecting the rest of the crap which has never been opened since we got it. I have a daughter though so hopefully some playing will be done.
love american girls!! i used to have all of the books... and i think kirsten & samantha. anyway, i have two pictures on my phone - one of the store in chicago and one of the store in NY, which i oddly came across within a month time span in both cities. i sent them to EAP, who also <3s AG.
I've got a 6yo daughter, so I know all too well about AG dolls. They are so expensive, but she loves them so. We're hoping to make it to the ATL store next month.
I need to request a hipster AG doll to be created just for GL!
