I wanted to take this time against my better judgment and legal advisement to explain what may be my last posting here.
I'm a huge advocate of free speech. I openly served in the military defending this right. But I never advocated hate speech. Certainly I have irked some of you when I make comments such as a parent is better to raise a child than daycare (several of you disagreed) but I have never attacked you on the basis of race, religion , creed , color or sexual preference.
I have also never threatened you or intimidated with posts such as:
You're such an assh*le. So you never shop on Amazon either? You track down where every single mass produced product you own is made and personally inspect the working conditions? You really think your bullsh't stance about Wal Mart is even newsworthy? We should all be proud of you cause you're telling us sh't we don't know?
Listen, no one here likes your moralizing. Half of us tell you to f*ck off to your face and the other half want to but don't like Internet conflict so resist. But for some reason you like to post here anyway, so here's a proposal for us all to live in peace. When ever you feel like being better than the rest of us, carve that idea on to a large peice of wood instead. When that piece of wood is filled with your brilliant ideas, shove is up your ass.

Same here but in all fairness he did not seem that bad before Horn made his obnoxious call out thread that got a lot more traction and mod participation than it should have in my opinion. Personally I think there is value in a member that can piss Horn, Juggs, and Gimli off so easily, but hey to each their own. It is always amazing to me that it takes three people on here start a campaign to make someone out to be a villain and then later on they live up to it.
He was bad well before horn started his thread. For me, I let it go after our initial discussion just because I try to not get worked up over inforoo stuff and generally try to be agreeable with others. As Gibran stated earlier, I am also not of the sentiment that there is a quality threshold associated with being able to be a poster on here. That being said, making thinly veiled statements regarding your ability to potentially blackmail people is not appropriate and is not a trait of those I would like to have around here.
Also please note that the confrontation which got him tossed was with Bandeto, who I think pretty much everyone agrees is a solid dude. He also managed to get into it with any number of the people who aren't me/Horn/Flanners, people who are rank among the nicer/more agreeable folks on here. But thanks for trying to throw some shade.
Just want to be clear it's usually more than just one confrontation/issue that leads to a banning. He wasn't banned simply because he just got into it with Bandeto but a variety of reasons including him getting into it with multiple people and us seeing more of his posts after we were made aware of him trolling a bunch of threads. It's not as simple as "he was tossed for arguing with one member". You are right that he seemed to be getting into confrontations with other folks who tend to be nicer/more agreeable and that was another factor in him being tossed.
As Gibran has stated....the report button should be used more. It gives the mods a notification and lets us see immediately if there's something/someone that should be looked into. Otherwise we may not see it if someone just posts "This guy is terrible. Why is he not banned?" in one of the many threads on here.

Sometimes it's like the boy who cries wolf. Some of you guys call so many posters worthless and "the worst" and trolls that it's hard to filter out the ones who are actually trolls.
I mean, I could make a thread where we keep a running tally of The Worst in descending order of their awfulness, if it would help everyone keep things straight. Might be helpful for people when it comes to EMoney's Garbage Day.
And I may apply the tag of worthlessness to many people, but have I ever been totally wrong? I mean it's not like I'm throwing elbows at Tom or Dave Maynar or anybody who actually contributes and/or seems like a decent, actual human being.
