Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
this is officially the longest day eveeeerrrrrrrrrr. I'm at work doing phone triage so of course there are about a million calls. which is fine but I am so ready to get home and start packing/cleaning the house/happy dancing
It's funny cause I'm in the office calling nurses. Do you get calls asking for OT and PT scripts? That's me
yes and they are the worst ones! (just kidding!!!) most of my calls are from nervous moms though. I keep saying I need to create a system where they can press 1 for diarrhea, 2 for fever, etc. since I feel like sometimes I spend all day repeating the same things.
Bacon-Wrapped Bacon This started in the clearance section of a local costume aisle. I sent the following text to bacon.
You. Bonnaroo. Maybe with a Route 66 sign as a Flav-style necklace? Make it happen.
Long story short, Bacon agreed to wear it for a day at Bonnaroo... conditionally.
If $500 in pledges to Whoring For Whoreshack are raised during the month of October, today through Halloween, Bacon will do it.
Item includes: 1 Bacon strip costume, to be worn by Bacon (provided by kdogg.) 1 Route 66 sign necklace, to be worn by Bacon (provided by kdogg.) bacon wearing this costume from Brunch* To Bedtime** on Friday at Bonnaroo 2014. * Bacon will definitely wear this costume to the Inforoo brunch & do a dance for us all there. ** The good people of QSAROO are mindful of health concerns that can be arise from wearing such a costume in excessive heat under Bonnaroo conditions. As such, Bacon will reserve the right to substitute the post-Brunch section of this for the noon-to-bed portion of a different day during the festival at his discretion.
If this item proves to be more successful than the ambitious $500 goal, Bacon has hinted at going above and beyond what is described in this post.
Pledge period begins now and ends at midnight on Halloween. Pledges are only obligatory if/when either (1) the threshold is met or (2) Bacon agrees to whore himself out cheaper.
Bacon-Wrapped Bacon is currently $55 short of its ambitious goal going into the home stretch. With my $15 yet to match, we're only $40 in donations away. People of Inforoo, I appeal to your generosity and/or sense of schadenfreude. Let's make this happen. Thank you.
I hope Banksy's grand finale in NYC is to graffiti city hall. Mother f*ckers need to chill with trying to catch him, he's a modern, world-renowned artist turning sh*thole structures into works of art. This city needs more Banksy, not less.

I thought I heard something about Bloomberg making it his top priority to catch Banksy. Which might be the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a while.
My work's Muzak system has started playing Daft Punk (Lose Yourself To Dance). Sadly it often falls in the rotation between Justin Bieber and one of the nine times a day I hear anything by Pink.

He does a good job marketing himself, banksy, but is his art really that special?

I think it's a bit overblown, but his work is still renowned. His paintings go for 4-digits on the regular and when you see shit graffiti all over the city, seeing something legitimately artistic is a nice change of pace. But it's not like it's Banksy >>>>>> Every other graffiti artist, or anything like that.
Another Saturday night, another chance for P.O.S. to ruin The Current. Tonight he is playing " car bangers". Let's find out what that means. So far, all I know is I need more switches - cause without em, I'm just a buster.
I rarely listen to the station online but their Song of the Day free podcast usually has eclectic offerings. That's one of my sources of new music discoveries, after KEXP & NPR Music.

Yep. They do a good job of putting new music out there, and free songs are hard to argue with. Plus, it's my local public radio station so I feel no shame in mugging for them.

Ha, I have used poo-pourri! I took a bottle with me to Roo this year to use on the RLARS bus. I think I had the Deja Poo scent. I also bought some as XMAS gifts last year. The hunters in my family received Trap-A-Crap as a gift.

I have finally joined the rest of the 21st century and got a smart phone (an iPhone 5s), and I gotta say it really is going to be a challenge not to be one of those annoying people who are constantly fiddling on their phone. This thing is pretty damn cool!
I had a smartphone (Samsung Stratosphere), and was on the thing so much - I wound up quitting it cold turkey. It was for the best. I'm back to a basic phone, but I'm back to reality.
I was at the farm looking up Inforoo even though I was ignoring the half of Inforoo that was right in front of me - that's how bad it was getting. That and the looking up Facebook and nearly sideswiping a pickup truck on I-95 in New Hampshire, I needed to stop myself before worse happened.

I decided that I'm calling in sick to work tonight to go see Fitz & the Tantrums. Suck it, high school co-workers and drug addict supervisor! I'm gonna get drunk and dance with my boyfriend.
