I think someone else posted something about this somewhere, but it needs to be reposted because this is the greatest music video of all time. All time.
Make sure to go through all the channels - Price is Right, the Property Brothers, Sportscenter and Danny Brown are inspired. It's literally a different video every single time.

Yea it's pretty amazing. I love all that went into it. I want to know more...like if this was all Dylan's idea or if someone thought it'd be cool and he liked the idea. Either way....it's really great and unique. Worth the wait. I also appreciate them putting in the classic Dylan footage on channel 121 (I think that's the right channel).
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Tis the season of the Ginkgo tree losing it's fruit aka 'tis the season of me walking through the grass in order to avoid the stinky path in front of my building. I hate you, Ginkgo tree. (And I know we've talked about this before, so I am not alone with this hatred.)
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
When it's cold like this the yellow jackets don't swarm around their nests anymore so you don't know the nest is there until you accidentally destroy it and piss them all off at once. Luckily since it's cold out they are slow and not too difficult to escape.

So anyone here have experience with kidney stones? I've had them twice before in my life, but this past week, starting on Monday, has been by far the worst. Pain increased to a 10 on Thursday so I went to an urgent care facility and the doc said absolutely kidney stones, blood in urine, yada yada, prescribed me the happy pills, which of course did wonders, and I have had some pretty severe attacks, where I think the stone(s) are moving. Been doing the urine straining and took the "findings" into the doc yesterday: she only saw under the microscope some calcium "shards." What I have been able to catch with the strainer hasn't shown stones but I may have passed it already.
My question is, for those who could help me (please!), my pain has dropped of considerably last night and today, I am feeling much better, but I still have some side, lower back pain from time to time (managing it well with just motrin), so I'm wondering if this is just residual pain now? Like, "my kidney just went through hell so it's healing" pain or could I still have worse pain yet to come? Anyone have aftershock pain after the stone has passed?

I've had kidney stones twice in my life but I was relatively lucky in the sense that it wasn't through intense pain of them moving through my body that found them. I had some minor pain and got tested out to find out I did have them....but they were stuck/not moving so the best option was lithotripsy (not sure the spelling) where they blast sound waves through water at the spot the kidney stone is and that breaks it up into sand. I've never had the honor of passing an actual stone and I'm glad for that....sorry you are in the pain you are. Hopefully it gets better or someone else with experience can answer.

Never had them but they are hereditary in my family. I try and stay away from icea tea, soda, and sugar drinks because they contribute to the calcium deposits building up. My dad had a few different passings and a few so bad he had to get the laser up the pee hole treatment to blast the deposits into smaller, passable sizes. Anti Oxidents like cranberry juice tend to be good for prevention (just make sure its not the "cocktail juice" which is loaded with sugar.)

Just so ya know, through my researching all this, time and time again, it was stated that cranberry juice actually helps form kidney stones and anyone prone to them, should avoid drinking it. Cranberry juice, though, may help people who have chronic UTIs.

I think my main problem is too much meat and also the ridiculously high mineral content in our water around here.
Yea a little of my own research and that seems to be the case. It may as well just be a better substitute over soda and sugar drinks, but not to prevent calcium crystals from forming. Seems the best case senario is just stay hydrated with plenty of high quality H20. Maybe a Britta filter can help with the minerals in the local water supply if you live in a well water area.

Are cassette Tapes worth anything? At all? Going through a bunch of my parents old ones to see what they got. They were going to throw them out. I have no tape player...so I don't know why I really wanted to go through them.

You could probably get a few bucks for them of Bushwick Craigslist.
