I don't know everyone's faces, so if there was a clip of you in the show and you want a gif, let me know. Bored at work
7:07 there's a creeper in the background.
Thanks for the video! Made me miss the farm more than I did. I tried to avoid those camera's the entire time and glad no one mentioned Kool-Aid pickles to them. The world isn't ready for that yet.
I just went through the Now Playing thread and loaded my Google Music queue with bands I've either never heard of, or have heard of but never listened to before. I added the full albums so they'll play straight through and on to the next one. I'm willing to bet there will probably be a couple on the list that people will be shocked I've not heard before, but I'm super lame at listening to new music. Hoping to change that
Here is my queue... am I in for a good time or a really, really bad one?

^Oops. I am a turd. Not the one that comes out fast and soft and loose, but rather the slow methodical turd that causes us hemorrhoids. ::shrugs:: Forgive me. I am on it.

Instead of letting SNL creator Lorne Michaels take a year off along with the show in 1980, NBC forced the program to go on without him for season six. This caused every single cast member and every writer except one to walk off the show, forcing NBC to hire a whole new set of replacements for the year. So, when the studio approached John Belushi to appear on the show again, he agreed to a cameo as long as the episode featured the punk band Fear as a musical guest. NBC agreed, a decision they'd soon regret. Fear ended up causing up to $200,000 worth of damage during their set, and were banned from returning to the show for life. Lorne Michaels ended up returning in season 11.
i think Redbox only emails me the buy one get one free emails bc it knows everything i want to see will already be gone by the time i stop.
I used to get the text deals. They would always text a code that expired in 24 hours around Sunday night so it would expire before all the new releases came out. Dirty tricksters.
I have a layover at Midway in Chicago as I make my way out to Arizona. I'm glad I live somewhere that isn't this cold, all that snow out there looks miserable. These kind of conditions would wreck any travel plans from my hometown, so kudos to you Illinois for actually knowing how to deal with Mother Nature when she's being a motherfucker.
At this point, the only thing to do is curl up to some Crown as I wait for the next plane. I forsee some drunk rambling posts by the end of the night...

I will be taking this exact route in 2 weeks. So excited to be in Arizona again.
The last time I did the Chicago route I moved up when everyone got off the plane. A decision that changed my mind about sitting up front on an open airline (Southwest).
The guy behind me was a dick and told the guy in front of me he couldn't sit next to him because he was too big. So many old people up there. I felt out of place.
Good news is we were on a full flight and the only available seat (that wasn't filled) was between me and the woman I was sitting with. Win.
Anyways I said all that to say have fun in Arizona. If you can have a Kiltlifter for me.
There's a bar the next town over from me that got busted for serving minors. It was closed down, and reopened shortly afterwards under the name "Swingin Chicken Saloon"

DOUBLE POST.
The tickets I purchased for the Spiritualized show on V-day in LA for ~$150/pair are selling (at cheapest) on StubHub for a minimum of ~$500/pair... I really want to see the show, but damn it's super tempting to sell them.
^Wow, that would be super tempting to take the cash....but you gotta go to the show!
Ya, $350 is a decent amount of money, but money is money. There will always be more of it (hopefully!). This is likely your ONLY chance to see Spiritualized do this with the full choir/orchestra.
