I'm currently in a drug study taking two medications. One is for high blood pressure, the other is Tadalafil aka Cialis. I felt like I was in 8th grade again. First chance I got I changed out of my soft pajamas and into a contamination suit aka jeans. They're much better at hiding such things.
It's basically an egg white-based marshmallow. I doubt any of the commercial candy companies actually use eggs though, so it's probably just sugar/corn syrup and some proteins derived from egg white or soy.
With few exceptions, American chocolate is boring and bland as batshit. The chocolate is waxy and it's virtually all just boring-ass variations of chocolate, caramel, nougat and nuts.
Cadbury shits all over Hersheys' dog vom lineup any day. Sure, Skor Bars are awesome, Butterfinger is legit, and Reese's are my jam - but the rest is kinda meh.
It's interesting that there are hard-core Milky Wayers in here. My mom and I just had a conversation about how she thinks she is one of the very few who would choose a Milky Way over a Snickers. Apparently, she's wrong!
(And you guys have to remember that I am not generally a chocolate/sweets person. I do love anything with PB though. Especially chocolate)
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Fun little tidbit about Hershey's: they separate chocolate into its two parts, chocolate liquor and cocoa butter, discard or repurpose most of the cocoa butter and replace it with vegetable shortening (and possibly other types of fats and stabilizers). It's technically not even chocolate. That's why Hershey's products tend to have a waxy mouth feel to them. All because this huge company can't be bothered to do a little tempering.

I would argue that comparing Cadbury's to Hersey's is unfair. They're two different levels of production.
"Anonymous Begins Publishing Ku Klux Klan Member Details Online"
I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand the group they are targeting is beyond disgusting and despicable. And a part of me applauds their actions. But is it right to violate someones civil liberties just because you despise them?
And am I the only one that finds irony in the fact that a group that wears a mask is pulling off the hood of another?

Are they really, though? Wikipedia to the rescue!
"The Hershey Company... is the largest chocolate manufacturer in North America and increasingly elsewhere throughout the world."
"Cadbury... is the second largest confectionery brand in the world after Wrigley's."
I meant more in regards to the level of quality that they are marketing at. Everyone knows Hershey's is the Natural Ice of the chocolate world so choosing them as the representative of American chocolate is kind of deceiving. Cadbury's (despite being a large manufacturer) works to maintain a high level of quality hence why their chocolate bars are three times the cost of a Hershey's bar at my grocery.

I saw this. They may want to do some more fact checking. One of the initial politicians on their list is Knoxville's Mayor Madeline Rogero. I'll choose to display why this is funny by posting her family photo.
I could also add briefly that she got started in politics by working with Cesar Chavez to bolster migrant worker's rights.

Hmmm, never really noticed any kind of price difference around Boston, and esp. not like that. The Hershey's products you can find here are actually more expensive than Cadbury's, but that's also because they're imported.
I feel like this is karma for Chipotle's anti-GMO pandering. "Our food may be contaminated with E. Coli, but at least it doesn't contain GMOs". Also, this makes it a bit difficult to take their "food with integrity" slogan seriously.
