Yeah I know. I'm losing thousands. I was looking hard at grabbing Litecoin when it hit 150, but it's already back to $250. People that have time to trade at will are making fortunes today on everyone else's panic. I wish there wasn't a 7 day clear period with my accounts and I could day trade all day long. But what are you gonna do? BTC was at $10,500 but already back to $13,300. It's like if you could sit there with nerves of steel and patience and a plan, you could just pick shit off and amass tons of wealth. I'm a pussy I guess.
I'm in a 10000 Maniacs mood, so I'll probably be just blast some tunes since I'm the only one in our suite. Alternatively, I can get all depressed and listen to one of the best voices of the 90's, Harriet Wheeler. I know The Sundays were kind of a random alternative band, but no one even knows them. In the spirit of depressing monetary losses, I'm not giving up but instead sitting still because again, I'm a pussy. So while the story isn't really ending at this point, here's where the story ends.
Where did you see BTC and LTC hit $150 and $10,500, respectively? I'm only seeing them on decline right now, but it doesn't look like they've hit that low yet.
Is your seven-day clear period with Coinbase or GDAX? If you use a credit card and eat the fees, it should be instant. Ultimately, this will be about holding long-term.
Yeah, gdax and coinbase. I'm still looking at all the other alternatives for the stuff I actually want, but it's still too complicated. Those numbers were straight from the coinbase. Check out the dips a bit around 8:30 and 9:00
Those supreme lows don't show up in the chart. I was staring at them while the prices showed those declines though because I have literally nothing to do.

Binance is a great exchange with minimal fees. Interesting, so they showed up in the price counter but not on the chart? I didn't see those lows on coinmarketcap's charts either.

I used binance to purchase some XRP last week. the site looks intimidating at first but it didn't take long to figure out how to transfer some BTC from coinbase for the purchase. i need to get a hardware wallet.
Is it fair to say The Last Jedi is the Yeezus of Star Wars movies?
Don't get it, is this a good or bad thing? Loved yeezus, didn't care for anything else.
Just that it makes bold decisions that have people very divided. Yeezus was pretty disliked when it first came out, but I fucking loved it. I just have a similar feeling with The Last Jedi.

So at our big extended family gathering we do one of those gift games where you draw numbers and then you can steal presents and shit. A lot of people bring gag gifts.
I stole the Rambo dvd box set from my brother's girlfriend. Greatest Christmas ever.

Hey Texas peeps, where should I get lunch in Austin? Gonna be in bumble quack for a bit visiting in-laws, but flying in and out of Austin and may spend a day or two there.

Torchys is always a hit. I like p Terry's more than in and out. The last three times I've been I've gone to Pho Please because my friend lives by one, it's always solid. I like Stubb's BBQ, it's a cool place, also shows there, but iirc it was pretty pricey.

Torchy’s is a win. You could stand in line half a day for Franklin’s BBQ but I think Iron Works, County Line, and Salt Lick are all exceptional without the wait. For a burger I prefer Huts. These are all places that have been around for awhile. I’m sure there is great new stuff I’m not aware of or have forgotten about. You can also get some delicious ice cream at Lick or Amy’s has more locations if you don’t want to get too far off the beaten path. For a quick and cheap pizza Homeslice is my choice. What type of cuisine are you looking to enjoy?

You may just want to stroll South Congress for half a day. Hit up Guero’s or Torchy’s for tacos, Jo’s for coffee, Continental Club for live music and dancing, and all the random shops for knickknacks, souvenirs, t shirts and such. Magnolia or Kerbey Lane are good breakfast spots.

Omg what I’d do for Torchys right now. There’s one on South Congress now but it’s always packed. Taquerias Ariandas is good for traditional style Mexican food, there are lots of locations around town and they all look like holes in the wall. Tyson’s Tacos is great too and it’s 24 hours. Casino El Camino on 6th is good for burgers/ pub good. For barbecue I like Ruby’s BBQ & Green Mesquite... there are two other amazing places I went outside of Austin but I can’t remember their names bc I was trashed when I went (both times were after floating the river.) Ruby’s is by a cafe / bar called Spider House that’s cool too. Not sure if they serve food but the place is really cool and has a really good food truck outside... oh, speaking of food Trucks, there’s a food truck court on Rainey that has some really good stuff. The Indian one is good but I don’t remember any of their names.
And if you’re going to be there for just a couple of days I wouldn’t recommend fast food really, but since it was mentioned I can’t not comment on the P Terry’s vs In N Out thing. Lol. I like P Terry’s, but it’s super greasy Since I’m a Cali girl at heart I always go with In N Out.
Edit : RUDY'S BBQ! that's one of the places i went after we went tubing. Rudy's and Ruby's are two different bbq places, but both very good. I was drunk when I had Rudy's though, so not a clue if it was actually good or just drunk good. but I throughly enjoyed it.
Yeah. Casino el Camino is easily the best burgers I've had in austin though Wholly Cow grass fed burgers on S Lamar is great too and way better than the old line chains.
If I was there today I'd probably hit up Gourdough's. That's an outrageous donut sandwich place and I think there are like 3 or 4. Also you might want to check out one of the local trailer parks on Lamar or wherever and try a few different things. There's lots of shit that blows the fuck out of Torchy's. People rave about it and it's good, but it's not really top anything Tex mex or mex in austin. I'd get interior Mexican at Polvo's 100 times out of 100 over torchys. And that's just one place. For BBQ, I disagree with County Line and Salt Lick. They aren't terrible though they aren't that good for Hill Country BBQ. In town I'd hit Blacks or Mickthlewaits (sp?) but it's better to drive the 25 minutes south to Lockhart to eat Kreuz Market, Blacks or Smittys. Also there is a pretty badass bar near campus that does good BBQ but I can't Fn remember the name of it. Freeman's maybe?

We call those Yankee Swaps
Dirty Santa or White Elephant is what I have always heard them called here.

I second Polvo's. I forgot about them. Only went there like 2 or 3 times but each time was fantastic. My main reason for my love of Torchy's is for their queso. The hot sauce they put in the queso and whatever the fuck else is in there is so damn good (no pun intended). And it's somehow vegetarian, even tho it tastes like there's chorizo or something in there.
Edit: Just don't go to Tacodeli, everyone raved about it but the few times I had it it was not very good, esp by Austin standards. or Fuzzy's, imo they're ok but really I only went so often bc it was right by my building on campus and they had $1 margs on Thursdays....

Agreed that Salt Lick is over rated. It more relies on the name at this point.
And completely agree about Lockhart, far superior BBQ there. Smitty's is my personal fav, but Kruez is great too.
Right on monie and Rothric. For Lockhart what we usually do is go to all 3 and pig out. Blacks in Lockhart sometimes has smoked pork loin that is outrageous. They do a great Flintstone's beef rib when they have those too. I think Smittys occasionally has the best German/Czech/Texas styled sausages. And then Kreuz has fucking dynomite smoked prime rib. I'll devour the fuck out of that, but the last two times I went they were sold out.
My only knock on Lockhart is that either you can't get BBQ sauce or it's just average. I think of all places, Rudy's has my all time favorite BBQ sauce. I know it's just a dive chain, but I'll eat Rudy's anytime. We usually hit the one at the Shell station just off Loop 360/Capital of Texas Freeway. I don't need sauce on every bite, and I appreciate the meat flavored only with smoked wood and salt and pepper. But the sauce kick is nice too. The only place I haven't been to over there is Chisolm Trail, but people dog on it so I really don't know if it's good or not. What's funny to me about Lockhart is how much the employees of one place hate on the others. I told a dude at Blacks one time that we were in the middle of pounds of meat from all three places, and he proceeded to tell me he wouldn't feed his dogs Kreuz. Haha. Fucking haters.
