Holy fuck, dude. Hoping that whatever it is they caught soon enough.
Sending you all the hugs.
It’s gonna take multiple steps to recovery but they sent me home for now. Pro tip, don't ignore pain in your kidneys.
Good tip, I ignored pains in my stomach for years and years. They would come and go. I thought it was really bad acid reflux. But then last summer when I was walking around my house at 2am crying in pain I realized ok I should go to the doctor.
Gallstones! Fucking sucks man. Nurses told me the pain is worse than childbirth. Week in the hospital on Dilaudid watching veep on my tablet, left without a gallbladder. Been fine since.
Anyway hope you are healing up well! Take it easy and take care of yourself.
Just spent the whole weekend in the hospital and underwent surgery. Made me realize I need to make more friends in Texas as it scared me a lot doing it all by myself. Gotta do another surgery in a couple of weeks. Damn I'm getting old!

My stone which was 3x the size to pass naturally got lodged inbetween my kidney and bladder. Now I'm running around with a stent up to my kidney. Rock can't be pulverized because of the location and infections all over. I should've gotten it checked out weeks if not months ago. This is my 4th one in 5 years. But never had one this size.
