Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Guess I'll go for 200 posts before the end of the year. I honestly try and post more....but I just end up reading and liking. I'm like a shadow....you hardly notice me around, but you know I'm there.
There's a sound in the walls that sounds like a guy peeing in a toilet.
Like, one really lonnggggggg pee? Or every couple hours, a dude getting up and peeing?
You should probably be worried about both, just curious.
5+ minute pees with irregular short and long intervals... Our heating and cooling is run by water in the walls, so it kinda makes sense... but I've never heard the sound before. It seems to be quiet now though...

Well, you're in your little room, and you're working on something good - but if it's really good, you're gonna need a bigger room.
And when you're in the bigger room, you might not know what to do; you might have to think of how you got started, sitting in your little room.
It's a great qiestion cause most bands start sucking by the third record. My explanation is usually that they got off the drruggs and started listening to their employers.

I think Shadow would've been a cool name.
You do realize you can change yr name, Toke. We'll know it's you.

I think sometimes bands just get burnt out early on; their creativity and energy is a finite resource, and they only have so many fresh ideas for songs in them.
But then you have those ever-so-precious unicorns like The Beatles & Radiohead, who only start to really hit their stride by the third album. The Beatles especially, since in their case that was about the time they got on the drruggs, not off them.
One of my pet peeves is when the city of a venue gets listed wrong on some tour schedule.
In this case it's just weird. The Space(land Ballroom) is in Hamden, just north of New Haven. But The Sinclair is in Cambridge, on the other side of the river from Boston.
Am I the only one who doesn't really like that?

I don't mind it when it's a continuous urban area like Boston and Cambridge - it's sloppy work by the promoter, but whatever.
What does bother me is when a show is advertised as being in a certain city even when it's nowhere near there. I've seen a few shows at the Comcast Center / Great Woods advertised as being in Boston. For those not familiar with the area, that's basically like saying Bonnaroo is in Nashville.
I really hope there's a reverse of this chart floating around somewhere.
The Ramones don't want: * to go down to the basement * to walk around with you * to be buried in a pet sematary * to fight tonight * to be learned * to be tamed * to grow up * you
Now that I think about it, wanting and not wanting things seemed to be a popular motif for them. Those snot-nosed punks.
