You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Wasn't there a guy on How I Met Your Mother that was a fomo?
lmfao Yeah but they called it the Curse of the Blitz. There was a whole episode where Barney missed epic/miraculous events, like a flipped coin landing on the ridges and not heads/tails, etc.
Hey Madeline ! I'm more into hip-hop/rap music and know a few bands (and by few I mean 3) but I'm hoping to find a couple of new artists to listen too.
What are your favorite music artists?
Well you're in the right place to find new music!! Check out the thread "No Playing Dos" where people literally just say what they are listening to. It's a billion pages long so don't start at the beginning www.inforoo.com/thread/26678/playing-dos?page=1300

So I've been thinking about this for a while but Ice Cube cracks me up. He went from being so thug to in Are We There Yet. What happened? I wonder who the next rapper turned actor will be. Just imagine how ridiculous it would be if Wiz Khalifa ended up in a Disney movie.
I dont know what it is but I cant do double stuffed Oreos. I just dont need that much creeme in my cookie. That is all for now.
Thank you. Everyone goes on and on about the wonderful, magical, out of body experience they seem to get from extra creme in the oreo. But you know what? It's gross. It's gross, and I won't have any part in it.
I have never understood it. I mean try dipping it in milk and it just turns into a soggy mess of cremey cookie. I'M GLAD IM NOT ALONE.
I saw them at a fest last year and had a lot of fun at their set even though I didn't know anything going into the show. Talked to them for a bit afterwards and they were awesome. They gave me a copy of their album (which was set to drop the next week). It was pretty interesting. They had 2 discs/sleeves that you tore apart. One of the discs was for you and the other was labeled "to share". They played in Madison last weekend but I couldn't find anyone to make the trek with me to go see em again.
I'm pretty excited for their show. I just looked up a video of them playing Backwoods Company for last fm and they looked like they were having a blast and they sounded very good.
Edit: the two disc idea is pretty cool. Damn good way to spread your name.
I thought you'd be interested in this! The Wild Feathers just posted a status on their facebook page saying they're "busting out the acting chops" on ABC's Nashville for Wednesday's episode.
At first I thought Nashville was going to be all about mainstream country but I started watching it one day and really enjoyed it. They've featured artists I really like, like Caitlin Rose and Shovels and Rope. (and now The Wildfeathers) This show is my guilty pleasure.
The music is actually really good in Nashville! I stopped watching it because it just didn't keep my attention, but I do agree about the soundtrack Leslie Knopeful
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Exactly! I don't watch every single episode, but if it's on and I've got nothin' else to watch I'll put it on.

I love that you called it No Playing Dos because there really is no screwing around allowed in there.
As I usually post from a smartphone (working on it lately) I find it difficult to post album covers, so I don't even go near, let alone into that thread. I did make a little "Now Playing" shrine on my desk: I put the CD jewel case of what I have on the earbuds under a sign saying that. This way, the as*holes in my office who interrupt me and make me take my headphones out know what I was listening to up until they got up in my business.
Wish other threads had that draconian level of discipline. Ahem.
Jared Leto has more glorious hair than I do right now. And I kind of hate him for it.
Go watch Fight Club and live vicariously through Ed Norton.
Edward Norton is extremely underrated when it comes to his good looks. Brad Pitt gets all the praise in Fight Club for being hot but Norton looks pretty dang good too.

Sunday night (more like Monday morning) I got like five hours. Last night I got less than four hours. Tonight I'm down to less than five hours. And tomorrow isn't looking much better either.
I kinda want to call out of work and just sleep in.

Not sleeping is the #1 way for me to get sick so get more sleep, LD!
