Strange hookup?
Not exactly. I won't go into details (as much as I'd like to), so I'll just say that recently a former partner told me something that makes me think she would be a very, very interesting case study. Luckily it's "wow, that's far outside the spectrum of common human experience" crazy, and not the psycho "I'm going to kill myself if you leave me" crazy. Because I've been there too, and that's not fun.

My 30th birthday was Tuesday and wouldn't you know that I would come down with a severe case of bronchitis, sinusitis, and an upper respiratory infection on Monday. Today was the first day that I got out of bed since Monday night. Finally felt well enough to go back to work today. Definitely was the worst case of sinusitis I have ever had. I think a day on the beach Sunday will speed my recovery up tenfold.
I only liked this because of the b's.....birthday and beach.

Do you ever venture to Northampton/Amherst for shows?
Once in a while. Saw Aesop last feb at Pearl Street. I'd like to get there more often though.
I've only been to Pearl St. once before, but it's a nice little club that gets acts which would normally be in places 2-3x bigger elsewhere. Jim James played there, a couple months after a stop at the 2-3x larger Royale in Boston. I know Shpongle is/was playing there recently, and it seems a much smaller venue than many other tour stops around the area. Sadly I had class that night though.
I've never had roommates, always lived with my bf & now I love alone. I stayed at my friends last night because I was drunk. Woke up to the sounds of her banging her boyfriend this morning. I am never, ever, going to live with another person. No way do I ever want to hear that agian. Shit was awkward as fuck. But, I couldn't just leave because 1) I didn't want them to know I could hear them, 2) she had my phone charger. So when they were done I couldn't decide how long was an adequate amount of time before I let them know I was up.... Never again.
Haha I loved the story. I used to be weirded out by that stuff but have come to accept it as part of living with people or in shitty apartments with thin walls. I think it's funny when I hear someone banging or moaning. Recently I've been hooking up with a girl who shares a studio with another person. Their beds are five feet apart and all that separates them is a curtain. I feel a tad awkward every morning because I know we must wake her roomie lots haha. Anyway here's a story.
Years ago I was hanging with a friend at his basement apartment which was all open concept. No door on his bedroom and the living room flowed right into it. He had a girl over and we all got drunk together. She was kinda nuts, talking about selling meth, stabbing a guy on the train, and leaving her dead boyfriend in a hotel after he OD'd on heroin. She kept trying to shove her boobs in my face. She even invited me to the bathroom but I didn't wanna bang on a sink coated with my friend's pubes. She started flirting with my friend instead. I'd drank too much to go home so in time fell asleep on the floor.
I woke in the middle of the night to this girl loudly moaning my friend's name in an affected southern accent. She uttered it over and over. "Oh Tyler. Oooooooh-h-h-h Tyler." I stayed put for an hour before leaving because as ya said it's hard to judge the appropriate amount of time. I was never going to mention what I heard but my friend told me all about banging her the next time we hung. Apparently he was too drunk to be hard so fingered her 'til his arm went numb. Dude is a romantic through and through. After falling asleep he rolled off the bed and farted when he hit the ground. This woke her up. He then had to crawl back in and sleep at her side til she excused herself in the morn. I think he had it way more awkward than me that night. Plus he didn't even get the experience of releasing his load into a meth head. Poor dude.

Well, I am totally OCD with my music catalog especially. When in the Pirate era of music, I had to make sure every artist, album, genre, etc were correct because everything was a mess after downloading for the most part. Now the artist section will have different artist and or featured artist as the main selection. The dreaded "various artist" card is now back again to haunt me. And to top it off all the "starred" songs you have not have to be "checked" voiding all the work of my system in artist and song identification and starring. Its the worst with anything EDM that appears on a "Miami hits 2008" or "Ultra 2014" album, or a song by say Swedish House Mafia that both will end up in the "various artist" selection.

Once upon a time I was OCD with my music catalog too. I had ~350 CDs and a massive amount of pirated music so I had to be to make sense of it all. I'm not really that way anymore, so we'll see how I like the update. Hope it doesn't mess up too much for me.

The spotify update on my phone let me follow people. I saw a spotify commercial at the movie theater yesterday. It showed extra features I wasn't even aware of.
I have always been OCD about organising my music. In days of yore, that meant alphabetising my CD wallet (this proved to be a royal PITA whenever I got a new album). Then when I collected vinyl, it was alphabetical by artist, with each album in chronological order. Now, on my computer I'm more than a bit anal about making sure everything is properly capitalised and sorted. It will annoy the crap out of me if I have, say, 'Neil Young & Crazy Horse' and 'Neil Young and Crazy Horse', or 'Rap & Hip Hop' and 'Hip Hop/Rap'.

^Exactly this. It stopped being a priority when my life became chaotic and I quit relying so much on those formats for listening.
My kids love there new rooms! It's so nice to not have people living in your house and no animals to clean up after anymore .......and best of all their sorry excuse of a mother alcoholic and disgusting looking excuse for a human being friend will never be in my house again! Life is great!! #?stalkingme? #?getoffmyshitcunt
Why is it when you ride your bike North into a head wind, you turn around and ride South and your still bucking a head wind? WTF?
Oh, that's easy: You are bad, and the wind hates you for that reason. Instead of complaining about the vagaries of the uneven heating of the surface of the earth via solar radiation, you should question what you have done to anger Mother Sol.
I need to get Spotify premium soon. What's the update that people are liking/disliking? Just changing the look?
I haven't noticed anything drastically different other than the look/layout. It has a black theme now and the artist pages lets you just shuffle all the songs by them from the front page. But that feature was added a couple of updates ago. And it looks like they have a "your music" category now that you can organize by playlists, artists, songs, albums. But you have to add stuff to those pages (besides playlists) through their discovery feature.
All that hat being said, I havnr noticed anything other than the layout & color scheme that has changed.
Actually: just playing around with it now and it has a thing where you can go to your profile and it immediately brings up you're recently played artists, which is nice because I listen a lot of the same people a lot.
(Getting up from the ground and wiping the blood from the corner of my mouth)
That was a good one, Life; I hope you got something better, cause I'm gonna be right here waiting for it. Seems like today is special, why ruin it by stopping the fun now?
