I really appreciate the kind words and support... I am in school for a bachelors but I only take one class a semester so I can pay out of pocket.. Gonna be years before I'm finished.

Bonnaroo is really is amazing. I was in Buffalo, NY rocking my 2014 t-shirt tonight at a Fitz concert and being from TN I was amazed by how many people I met that had been to/want to go to Bonnaroo. Haven't had that many high fives since June. I have to say today was a good day.
Only advice I can give is to stop evaluating your self worth based on how you are treated by the opposite sex.
Decide what will make you feel valuable...and then do that thing. The rest will fall into place. You just need to believe in yourself and follow through on your goals.
Plus you don't have any children. You're pretty much free rolling.
Feeling really down on myself tonight... Asked this girl I like if she wanted to see phish with me tomorrow and she turned me down. An old friend of mine got engaged (feels like all my friends are, meanwhile I haven't been in a "real" relationship since 2009, haven't been on a date since January). I'm 27 making $400 a week living with my mom, no college degree or any direction.. Ugh. Hating myself.
Never too late to start redrawing your own map :-) Hugs.
I was years older and making $900 a month living on my own; it gets better.
In other news, the participants in the Song Title thread just strung together 37 songs sharing the word "sex" without repeating. Well done, errybody. Beats the old record of the jfg108 era of "jesus" at ... 19 in a row, iirc.
Last night my girlfriend and I watched a documentary on tiny homes. We were just joking around asking each other, "Oh, would you want to do that?" "Where would we park our tiny house?" "How would we host fancy dinner parties?"
I was honestly kind of entertaining the idea until she asked, "What would you do with all of your records?" That was the end of that conversation.
edit: Sorry to derail the Beck love. I'll turn on Mellow Gold as penance.

Honestly, I was thinking(not anytime soo, but just imagining) about it too, and when I though about possesions, all I thought about was my records as well.

I never want a big home and location is waaaay more important to me than the physical home but good lord I don't want to live without my records. I enjoy them and some of the other stuff I have collected far too much.
A lot of the documentary was about getting rid of clutter in your life so feel like I justify holding onto stuff like that because I actively enjoy it on a regular basis.

A woman my friend works with lives in a tiny house just like in that documentary.
I've got a weird question. I'm thinking about starting a Go Fund Me to raise money to buy a pop up camper. But when I look at some of the ones on there is seems like a stupid request compared to some of the others....thoughts?

That's so cool! It really does look like a wonderful and rewarding lifestyle. I'd love to, like, vacation in one. If it were up on AirBNB in a location I was going to I would definitely book it. I just like big cities and vinyl records too much to ever commit to it.

I don't live in one of those mobile little trailer deals, but my last apartment was ~250 sq feet and my current apartment is ~400 sq feet (with 2 people and a cat). You'd be amazed at what kind of storage options you come up with when you have to. I truly think you could make it work! Don't give up

Not going, couldnt find anyone who wanted to come with, plus I am going to be heading to Hudson Project tomorrow and have Flume and 311 in the middle of next week.. Figured conserving money was the best approach. Could have gotten tickets for only $40 too
