The Sword - Low Country
I dunno. All Them Witches must have had a least a bit of influence on these guys on that tour they did together, judging by this acoustic remake of High Country songs, steeped in blues guitar influence.
Finally got to sit down and listen to some records on my new player... however, I was disappointed to find that none of my 180 gram records played properly on this, meaning I need to get a new stylus. But these sounded great!
Lost In The Trees - Past Life
The Tear Garden - Tired Eyes Slowly Burning......... The Tear Garden - The Tear Garden EP (Center Bullet)

I can't comment on the blues guitar influence, but The Sword have been about acoustic stuff for a bit. On Gods of the Earth, there is a bonus track which is an acoustic remake of a song from the album. Also, I may be remembering wrong, but I remember somewhere seeing an interview with one of the guys from the band where he talks about how they write all the guitar parts on acoustics before going electric because they feel guitar parts should be good regardless of effects/noise/volume/etc.

It must have been the tequila talking and me imaging the two bands backstage jamming out on acoustics. That Sword record is nice though.
exit: and of course being from Austin, if that genre influenced them any, it would have been long before meeting All Them Witches.
