I do. Sounds like Russian Circles. Speaking of, I wore a Russian Circles t-shirt to American Red Cross when I gave blood, and I thought the guy doing the needle stick was going to tear it off me.
but seriously, this is interesting. I feel like I listen(ed) to a lot of metal, but not a lot of sax.
The obvious place to start is Colin Stetson. I'd suggest the New History Warfare: Vol 1 -3. Then I'd go Stetson/Neufeld duo before diving in to the newer stuff.
Another few names that may intrigue you is Mats Gustafsson and both iterations of Fire! While not metal they tend to lean to a more rock crowd.
The last suggestion is Peter Brötzmann and the Peter Brötzmann Octet. After hearing Machine Gun for the first time, I realized my band teacher had lied to me. You CAN play a saxophone loud.
