re: Ty's album; Sad it's not on Spotify, I'd love to put some of these in some of my playlists.. What an amazing album
Next week.
Just curious, do you know for sure if this album will be on Spotify? Most of his catalog is missing, and none of the singles from this album are on there.

I haven't been able to listen to music for the last few days as I'm in the process of relocating. Can't wait for Monday to arrive and I listen to some proper music.

Yup, Santa Barbara No Coachella this year, but I'll most likely do FYF and Desert Daze and maybe few others
Edit: Whoa. This is not your standard Ty release. Edit x2: I need someone else to listen and report back. This might be his best album.
I've spent a lot of time already with this one and it definitely isn't our Ty Segall of olde. The album is the ill advised double length, all over the place, and the singles weren't particularly exciting. Which is funny, because it all works so well as an album. There is something to be said about Ty's past glory as garage rocking, psychedelic, proto metal, lo fi, prolific maniac over the course of various projects, but this album put all of that and more into a record with depth I never thought Ty had in him. Freedom's Goblin really has the potential to be Ty's defining statement.
Also, shout out to Mikal Cronin. His fingerprint is all over this thing and he should be included in the same breadth of music's finest sidemen.
