Yeah garageland, agree. Absolutely no clue what Black Dice were trying to do here. It's just.. so random, like.
I can usually get on board but not this time around. This might be the first time they’ve truly struck out for me.
I’ve only been physically scared for my well being at a show 3 times in my life. Black Dice happens to be one of those bands. I seriously thought I was gonna die being up front of their set. So they have that distinction, I guess.

I nearly had a panic attack once at a Daughters-concert (also very up front), Alexis Marshall was so overwelming. So I get it.

They broke not one but two bottles and was dancing hard with them. A few minutes later the singer jumped and kicked an audience member in the chest and kept going on like nothing happened. It was at that point I removed myself from that situation and went to the back of the crowd.

Holy shit.
He smashed two microphones to pieces (punshed himself with them till he bled on his forehead, swung it around like it was nothing etc) lmao.
Pigpen AND Keith. No Mickey (or Donna). Bertha > me and my uncle > Mr. Charlie opens it up loose and bluesy.
It was broadcast on radio, so there's lots of versions out there on archive, but theyre pressing a vinyl due in November and they got the remastered tracks up on Spotify.
Edit: gimme a fiery pigpen good lovin' when I die.
