Nobody jams like Neil, man. I have constant rage that my sister was "dragged" to a Neil young show where he played a 30 minute down by the river on a stage literally set up on a Mississippi river bluff. But I have immense happiness that during her birthday yesterday when my sister was telling the above sorry, my 9year old says "dad put me on his shoulders when he played rockin in the free world! It was fun!"
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

Going down the road of all kinds of things I never gave too much attention to this year based on AOTY votes, exposure on other lists, seeing them mentioned often elsewhere, etc. Some fucken quality re-listens so far.
