Never got to see Wolf Parade, but I saw Sunset Rubdown at a tiny bar in Madison a couple years ago and they were SO good. They couldn't play an encore though because the bar was having karaoke after, which meant I missed out on Us Ones In Between and Taming of the Hands. Boo.

I like how Spencer starts out really calm and collected and then can burst open and come back down again, whereas Dan is always rocking back and forth and seems really jittery.
Even though their voices aren't that similar, I never knew Wolf Parade had two vocalists until At Mount Zoomer came out. But yeah I definitely like Spencers voice more.

It's cool to go back and listen, but I've never really put them in heavy rotation either. Whenever I listen to an album like Pet Sounds the history outweighs how much I can connect with it personally.
