I’ve been listening to a lot of Joy Division this week and I think they have their highs and lows as a band but every time I listen to “Disorder” I think “wow now this is a fucking banger”
"Disorder" is one of my crowning misheard lyrics achievements. For a long time pre-Internet, I thought the first two lines were:
"I've been waiting for a guy to come and take me by the hand. Could these sensations make me feel the pleasure of another man?"
I always wondered why it wasn't more talked about as a gay anthem.
