Oh, I was naive My shoes were untied In Heaven everything is just fine But the phones are dead And so is the light And so are you And, honey, so am I
But the Earth still turns For the unconcerned Days pass below like train windows I was a sapling tree The birds looked like me Oh, I begged my nerves to kick me something new
From time to time I'd watch you sleep Oh, I wonder how much freedom we can dream And I'm sorry when you wake up to me
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Oh my god. garageland , have you checked this out?
It was a few months ago but I did. It’s a true DG album. Challenging and scary af. I’m glad you like it.
It was good, but it lacked some direction. Two very long cuts make up the album, but I feel like with a little more structure, it would've been better. It's more an experience rather than an album you'd listen to. Anna Von Hausswolf, Chelsea Wolfe, whom this album reminded me of a bit, do this better idk.
