As far as for "90s bands" for Bonnaroo, I think Dinosaur Jr, Archers of Loaf, Belle & Sebastian would be realistic, high quality options. Mudhoney, Breeders, The Clean and anything w/ Mark Lanagan (Screaming Trees reunion anyone?) would also be great but more unlikely. Unfortunately, The recent Guided By Voices reunion is wrapped up this year. A GBV late-night tent show would be insane. I also doubt the other great bands who reunited last year (Superchunk, Pavement, JSBX, Come, etc) will be continuing into 2012.
I'd also like to say I'm probably the only person who would rather see Frank Black do a solo show (or with the Catholics) @ Roo than see the Pixies reunion again.

Superchunk didn't have a reunion, they just play shows infrequently. Mac was busy with Portastatic but I could see them cranking out another album soon.

If they have a 90's alt tent, I hope The Toadies play. As for seeing Bush live, they were ok. I actually liked Veruca Salt who opened for them better.
Their Louisville show (with Veruca Salt as well) in 1997 was my first concert ever. That said I'm not that hot to repeat the experience though I was amused when they happened to be on a Jimmy Kimmel episode I was watching a few months back.

Friday for mentioning some DFW og's. I get to catch those guys often, I always thought they would be a great fit for Roo. They still sound really tight, I'd love to see those guys get a little recognition.
Speaking of 90's, Butthole Surfers anyone?

Child, please. If we're going to do 90's alternative, lets get some bands with actual talent, like the aforementioned Superchunk, Dinosaur Jr., Pixies, etc. Or even Jane's Addiction or Soundgarden.
Foo Fighters for Friday night headliner, anyone?
